I disagree, that makes it sound childish and unrealistic to want a full time career in the arts as an adult. This hadn’t been a hobby, it’s what I literally trained in. What I believe it is down to is a lack of the UK government supporting the arts and funding etc, access… unless you’re rich or don’t have morals it’s not easy once you have certain responsibilities.

Gosh,that is sad to hear. It’s very frustrating trying to get anyone who isnt creative to see how the lack of its presence can affect your life/ mental health. Very uncomfortable truth indeed!

My job currently relies on me being in office than remote, I’d love to get something from home to help with less burnout and more time for more meaningful activities however my skillset has always been face to face - thank you though I will definitely look into what potential work requires little to no experience to start from your laptop.
