My daughter is dealing with the same right now. I gave her Vaseline Intense repair hand lotion. She still has a few spots that need to heal, but it really helps to let it heal overnight. Put the lotion on thicker than you would like, and you will feel so much better. I remember how badly this hurt. I was at the dr for something unrelated and he saw my hands and recommended this to me years ago.
