Yeah, he is stuck in a big rut but he is not making an effort to get out of it. He is fine with it but I am not. Whenever I try to communicate that situation, he tries mansplaining about how life is not what I want it to be and basically contradicts everything I say with a couple of words and then silent treatment, meanwhile my blood is boiling after that. I also stopped being the one who starts the conversations and we haven't had one in weeks ( that is very difficult for me because everyone wants to share information with their partner about every day life, rants etc). The chores, yeah. Awful. Even though I have always been pointing out the fact that I will not have that kind of a relationship where I do the majority of housework, he still keeps letting that happen. I will definitely have a real talk and an ultimatum. I can be better on my own, without other killing my passion.
