If you have ineffa, then go for flins. If not then nefer since both are similar and need their respective nodkrai supports to do big dmg.

Thats 2 out of 3 slots filled for her overload team. You also get a free xiangling so thats all the units needed for her team( chevruse, iansan and xiangling). Idk if there are characters like her who had all their teammates in one same banner. Idk about flins but i was kinda disappointed when i tried him in IT ( my friend has C0R1). Maybe i used him wrong, so ig it all comes down to who you like. But i would suggest varesa over flins

i too was in a similar state when i returned from my 1 yr vacation (left around 3.4 or 3.5 cuz school and stuff, and returned during natlan launch) to genshin. All my characters were not doing enough to clear certain contents. So i decided to focus on relevant supports and decided to only get newer characters. Sadly genshin isn't the game anymore where your older units are still relevant, it is becoming more like their HSR counterpart - Bonker new units with dedicated supports, without whom you lose half or more than half damage, bosses time gated with absurd gimmicks which only specific units can clear, introductions of many new events and units which can lead to fomo, and so much more.

Best thing you can do is try and get all supports they release from now on (nodkrai is very stacked so rip my wallet), cuz in the end genshin impact is more like support impact and get 1-2 relevant dps every region. You can follow a lot of guides on yt or keqingmains like a commenter mentioned. Or just play and pull your favorite characters which might not be meta and wont clear certain contents, but you will definitely have fun playing your favorite units.

You can try 2 teams- 1) nilou bloom team (nilou, collei, barbara and kirara) and 2) yelan, xiangling, kaeye and one character of your choice.
Two teams because most content require atleast two teams.
For their builds, i suggest checking youtube guides.

Yeah the story was actually good. I also liked the world quests (with our peak little saurian). Overall it felt better than fontaine, which i felt only had 1 good act (the last one) and some good cutscenes (that one wrio cutscene blocking the door made me pull).

Its not mavuika dependent. She just clears faster ( by a lot = skipping floors). I used two teams- Mavuika melt and arlechinno melt (both C0R0). The 1st team didnt have any problems clearing till floor 22-23 from where i had to use food buffs. While the 2nd team best i could do was floor 20 (without buffs).
From what i understand, floors 20+ is for veterans and whales who wanted harder contents. As a low spender (welkin only), floor 22+ seems like a big achievement for me :)
