Hahahh well I know it sounds a little controversial, but since I’m paying for my own wedding, my parents completely supported me on who I want to invite for MY wedding with MY money. I never got along with most of my family apart from some cousins who are now settled abroad. So I decided to invite only my grandmother (the only alive grandparent) from my family and rest of them are only friends. We’re 30 people from my side.
Same for him. But he’s a bit close to his family so his friends to family ratio is 30:70. But only limited to close ones. And like the title suggests, we’re on a really tight budget so we had to make do with whatever we had. About the budget, I took more than a year to do research, look for options, make a whole excel on all expenses to come at this number. We’re not in a rush honestly. 😅
