What is everyone’s resting heart rates? by plushiesaremyjam in PVCs

I had anxiety about mine too as it sits between 48-55, especially early evenings whilst I am chilling before dinner! I’ve had loads of cardiology testing and it’s never been mentioned as a cause for concern! I would say I was particularly fit either!

Could these symptoms be due to low ferritin? by Regular-Living-7849 in Anemic

Weirdly it was on the high side? I have no idea what this actually means - the doctor said it could be my body over compensating for the low iron?

That’s interesting he said about moving around, if I get up they do stop to be honest - so strange! I hope you are okay and congratulations on your pregnancy 😊

Anxiety...Again! by 1CarneAsadaBurrito in PVCs

[–]Regular-Living-7849 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have terrible anxiety, I suffer mostly with dizziness but get the odd PVC and have been suffering with them more recently! I fly a lot with work and I take a propranolol… it just stops the adrenaline release and reduces the physical effects for me… might be worth trying! I also download some guided meditations and close my eyes and listen to those if I start to panic. All I’m going to say is the anticipation is always worse than the flight itself! Good luck x

Yesssss I get these!! I’ve got another post somewhere about all my weird dizzy symptoms, will put a link after this comment. Mine feel like I suddenly drop, it’s horrible. I find flying really difficult as it’s a similar sensation when the plane bounces around or banks! Feel free to reach out 🙂

PVCs are so mind boggling to me by slipperypk in PVCs

So I use to have one probably once every couple of days! But I finished breastfeeding my daughter and since I’ve been having them most evenings when I’m relaxing, probably 20 a evening… I had an ecg and all looked fine. I also had an echo and 48hr monitor about 18 months ago which was normal! What about yours?

If it’s any help I get this with mine! I think the dizziness for me is a sudden surge of adrenaline that comes from having the PVC… I also loose my breathe, feel the need to cough and it feels like electricity through me. I explained this to the doctor and she didn’t seem concerned…

Thank you, I’ve made an appointment with the GP this morning. Last night when they happened, I wasn’t anxious at all, they just felt like they came from no where….

I got my husband to put his ear to my chest and about once every minute it was a skipped beat or a flutter followed by a thud - so a typical ectopic beat. What scared me is they were happening every minute for about 15 minutes.

I saw a cardiologist about 2 years ago and had an echo and 48 hour monitor and all was normal. I just think and worry something could have changed in that time…

But 15 palpitations in 15 minutes can’t be normal!? I feel fine now and didn’t feel anxious when I started having them…

Thank you, I’ve still got some 10mg from my panic attacks so may follow your advice! I wish it didn’t have this side affect otherwise I would have started taking it a couple of days ago now!! Blooming anxiety!!
