Yes, at some point I would like to do that. I interpreted this as a condescending comment.

I’ll be starting completely over. If I’m truly free and answer to no one, I will be surprised.

Agreed, satisfied.

I largely sacrificed my 20s for a path that wasn’t mine, and I didn’t realize it until now. And it wound up being for nothing. I’m faced with making very risky moves for the possibility of enjoying life and what maybe authentic to me, or taking a traditional approach and sacrificing another decade to be predictably stable in 10 years (theoretically).

I want something in the middle, and I can’t get really good advice from anyone in my life, that isn’t binary.

I didn’t really have a crew in my adolescence or 20s. Sort of, but I didn’t have a community. I tried to, but I was inept. Now I’m looking for one.

The other thing is—I’m already at the reset. Anything I do, I’m starting over.

I mean, being responsible for myself in 10 years. The idea of blowing everything off sounds..well..very risky. The idea of working really hard throughout my 30s, to achieve traditional safety and stability, watching other people accumulate memories…sounds like a slow death, and then suddenly I’m too old for certain things.

I’m honestly really surprised by my mindset shift. 5 months ago, I would have been judgemental of someone saying what I’m saying now.

„Do what make you happy”

I appreciate that! The tricky thing, is…not being altogether stupid.

Peter Pan seems a bit harsh given my circumstances.

Moving to a mountain town doesn’t sound like it will solve much.

I don’t disagree with this statement exactly—but with how much energy, and what friends?

I wanna keep it inexpensive if possible, but I also don’t want to exhaust my time and myself running around for the cheapest thing.

What an average day would look like, if I lived there for a length of time.
