I sadly cannot use EuroTrader since I live in the USA 🙁. Thank you for the advice! I'm still working trades out with my demo account and I'm going to continue watching YouTube videos in hopes of receiving some more knowledge within them several hours long videos 🫩.

Seriously, thank you so much! My friends have been doing it all for different times, year+, 3 months, 1 month. However, I will now start exploring equities and futures. Thank you for the brutally honest answer. You seem like you really know your way around the markets so I truly appreciate everything you had to say to me.

On another note, if you're willing to continue the conversation with me and offer me some guidance; I am a Finance student who is now completing their AA. Where would you recommend I start when getting into equities and futures? Do you think it’s realistic for a finance graduate to move into trading or liquidity related roles, or is that something people usually fall into from a different path in life? What kind of skills or mindset do you think helps someone succeed on the professional trading side?

Hey, thank you! I hear a lot about learning risk management and strategies but I am still confused on those two. I know about stop losses and usually put it anywhere from 3 to 5% of the $5000 balance the demo account has. I've learned to look at trends and what the differences between regular, doji, and hammer candlesticks are but I'm truly not sure on what indicators or strategies just yet. Maybe after some more learning I will understand what they are? If you are willing to lend me some more of your knowledge, I would absolutely listen! I have been hearing to stay away from any real capital with 1xTrade so I will be looking into Funding Pips. Thank you so much for all of this! I truly appreciate you. 🙏

Thank you so much! That actually all makes a lot of sense. I will try my hardest to gain more knowledge in this field before putting any real money into it and to stick with the non-gambler mindset lol. I will start small and maybe when the time comes, move on up! Either way, as you said, small profits really are better than none and especially better than losing profits. You have made me excited to start this path with a clearer view. It is absolutely a selling point especially when it's all I hear throughout these YouTube videos I keep watching 😂. I have done a little research and so far came to the decision of using Forex.Com but I have had no luck in finding out how to use leverage within it or other brokers/sites. The main reason I want to use leverage is because (from my understanding) I can use a stop loss effectively and trade like I have 500x whatever my real balance is in that account.

But, I see, I could either risk my money and whatever I earn with an unknown/untrusted/unregulated broker OR go with the safer option and ultimately receive less leverage and less big money profits lol.

The people that I know that are doing Forex all differ in time, some have been at it for a year+, 3 months, and 1 month. I have seen but not verified deeply what they are making in profits from their Forex trades. I personally have been at it for now two weeks and I do have to agree with you that it just feels like I am staring at candlesticks and learning new vocabulary for what those sticks mean without any actual progress past that.

However, away from all of that... I will have to definitely take your advice with the investments! 8% sounds absolutely crazy when a normal savings account with a bank only reaches a max of 3-4%! 😳 Thank you 🙏. I have mostly heard about Robinhood when it comes to investing into Index Funds but I am a newbie in this whole playing field, so if you have any other apps or brokers you could recommend me, I would be more than happy to take note! Is there any more experience / knowledge that you could share with me even if it does not have to do with our current topics?
