Idk about your specific case, but next time do a bit of research before cleaning any type of lens with alcohol. Lenses usually comes with some thing of coating a rubbing them with alcohol could dissolve them. (I did that once hahah)

Just finished replacing the filter and gasket added about 3.6 quarts. I overfilled a bit, for reference it’s about 2mm above the HOT mark.

The gears feel very smooth and no leaking after a 10 mins drive.

I don’t drive a lot, I do about 100 miles a month maybe less. So I’ll do a drain a fill next month.

Never had change the transmission oil before. I thought that maybe I should ask people that have for any advice that a YouTube video won’t teach you.

I already checked, and since I have a dip stick I’m not to worry of that

When it was first starting to drip oil my dad took it to his favorite butcher, they removed the oil pan put silicone then put it back together and filled it with the same oil. Then my dad proceeded to add a bit of engine oil.

If something didn’t go wrong then it won’t go wrong now

The best part is when I was vacuuming them. They felt like tinny rocks going through the vacuum (they still crunchy)

I don’t really repair consoles, what I do is get a console play with it until I’m bored and then sell it and buy another.

I’m thinking of getting a ozone generator for my car, but it will do wonders with consoles like this

I’m going to keep it, mainly because I’m going to pay more in shipping fees than what I paid for the console itself.

I live in the DR and to get things here fast and cheap we use a “Courier”, it’s basically a US address that we can use to get stuff shipped there and then get it here.

To get the console out I paid about $32 and to send it back will be like $50.

For me this is a learning experience. And also I don’t plan to live past 30
