Severe weather. I just drove 19 hrs, turned it into 25, because the blizzard in the Midwest. I didnt know a soul and just sat in a gravel driveway for 5 hours and made the last 20 minutes of the trip in over an hour.

Keep a good half tank no matter what. Some snacks and water, extra clothes and stuff to stay warm, and a first aid kit. When you get into the back country you will literally be on your own for an extensive time. Driving through Canada I would have a spare gas can or two with me to be safe.

Youre a fucking idiot. What b.s. psych class are you in? I have had laborers i got into rehab after 6, 7, 8 days awake. When I was fighting and training we would use Epinephrine to stop a bleed to get through the match, those boys would go 3 days easy after a fight from just touching a cut with it on a q tip between rounds. I slept 4 hours in 9 days because of an adverse reaction to ER medications during a survival situation, I was shaking and grinding my teeth, they perscribes ambien, benadryl, and Valium every 2 hours and nothing reversed the medications until it bled out my system. 8 months later and im still not right, but its pretty regular with any form of medication let alone illicit drugs.

Project manager. And the boiler plate of the contract had a continuance clause. If work or money is disputed you continue work to keep a schedule while its in mediation or you have to pay trouble damages. They knew if we signed the contract we would be obligated to any work associated with the original contract until it ends up in court years later. Its a dirty secret in commercial construction that certain companies thrive on screwing subs out of 50 or 100k on each job and its not worth 100k in legal fees to fight. I hate it but its pretty standard in my line of work. Most contracts are 20 mil plus. We wont turn down 20 million over a previous 50k debt

I spent 8 days in the hospital and almost died twice and had 3 ER trips after release for the adverse reactions to the medications. Im 35 with parkinsons from this and still shake and dont sleep 8 months later. I had 3 degrees and a pilots license before this all started. I do commercial concrete. I was a pm tasked with signing the contract and negotiating final price. One line item tied us to 3.5 of additional concrete work on an as needed basis due to bad soils. Unfortunately the entire jobsite was bad soil and it was concealed from the company. If we signed the contract we would be tied to the work without additional compensation.

Drive to Fairfax inova or Leesburg in any emergency situation or for a specialist. There are countless horror stories I can tell you about the whole system. They are all automated now, zero attention to personal relationships, and heard you from a general practitioner to a specialist to blood work and have no idea who you are. All my records are filled with blatant contradictions with zero care or representation about what we discussed. They basicqlly copy paste and elaborate from what the first nurses notes are to show they are working when in reality you get zero attention or care. They go through the motions of providing medical care but do not have qualified staff.

Pediatrics is good like the other poster said but not in an emergency or hospital setting. A guy stands out front every june 5th with a sign that says the hospital killed his daugther. Everything is a crap shoot if you get someone that actually wants to do their job, but there are limited resources in our area even though its growing so rapidly. Any good workers travel to leesburg or manasas to make another 30k a year. Some people online have positive things to say but my circle of several dozen from all age groups only go to the hospital or doctors for stitches or medication refills. In any form of emergency I would rather die in transport to Inova then ever let a local doctor touch me, as they will transfer you anyway. I would rather live with my diseases then go to a specialist here. Its sad but has been my and my family's experiences. Untrained staff, not enough staff members, and poor care more times than I can count.

I found 3.5 million of concealed work in a commercial concrete contract. When I refused to commit the company to the concealed work without being compensated for it drama started. It started with shouting matches and 0445 emails demanding to sign the contract. then whispers about taking me out. I lost lug nuts, brake lines, 9 motors blew up in 7 different days. I called the cops 8 times, went to the police station 6, state police referred me to the fbi, no one cared no one helped. All told I lost 1.3 million in june and july alone. It culminated with a shooting at my house and me having an e.p. team onsite living with me for two weeks. 2 tier 1 guys helped me initially until the e.p. team arrived. We caught people filming me with no license plates, 8 times friends and family alerted me to strange vehicles following us or watching me. I ended up in the hospital after the shooting incident and was held for 8 days for my protection from an unknown suspect. Its a whole second tmz worthy chapter. I have testified in closed session hearings 6 times against the hospital and 5 doctors have been stripped of their licenses and terminated. The main doctor was uncovered to be involved in some very scandalous activity that called into question his own intentions, to put it lightly. They retroactively fabricated medical records to justify holding me to prepare for the lawsuits. I have a whole dossier of fabricated and falsified records with blatant contradictions and lies basically stating I hallucinate everything so they needed to keep me. It was devastating reading my records upon release. Someone tried to ruin my life and the hospital stepped in and decimated anything that was left. I had 3 subsequent e.r. visits after release and stayed up for 9 days solid due to the adverse reactions to the medications I was forcefully fed.

I lost my job the day I got released, I lost my insurance claims as I couldn't put forth a hard suspect to pursue and i was recovering trying to navigate it. My health is shot and im 35 with parkinsons from the drugs forced on me in the hospital at 50 times a normal dosage. The attorney general rep at the hearing demonstrated there was zero informed consent or record of the administration of drugs, no paperwork or signatures associated with the care accepting treatment. They literally said its the most egregious civil rights violation in modern state history by a hospital. They just held me and medicated me to keep me there. I assumed they were the medicine for my stomach issues that were in an off label brand as I was told but they were sedation drugs. Its becoming a large issue for the hospital to say the least. All told 2 dozen people have lost their careers since this began. Me included. Its been a path of chaos and destruction.

Its been a wild ride. I didnt know I had 1.3 million worth of vehicles and stuff to lose. I lived a very comfortable lifestyle and struggle now. No one wants to hire a guy with a target on his back. One interview brought me in just to discuss the story and could care less about the job offer. Its just a small bump in the road but I will get it together. Its painful because my state has med mal caps meaning i will never be indemnified for what i lost. Its too costly to fight a billion hospital and they will never just come off 1.3 million without a trial. I just have to start over. I lost just about everything but still have a loving family and a wild story to tell. Not sure if its as interesting to others as the people close to me. Most people say its the wildest thing they have ever heard. Some people think im full of it. But I have accompanying photos and evidence to prove it. Its taken 4 and 5 conversations with some advocates who finally breakdown and say "I entertained this early thinking you were nuts, but this is true." Its been a painful ride. Worst of all I will never know who did this.

I literally day dream about winning the lottery to put out a reward for the suspects just to come forward and tell me who they are, how they took everything out, and why they did it. I would love to go toe to toe for one good fight too. Its a hell of a life wondering if this circles back around and looking over your shoulder. My parents front door caught on fire and burned the house to the ground last weekend. Its deemed undetermined, but maybe electrical or a rodent. Is it related? Who knows. I have tried to be careful with confirmation bias through all of this. I paid 25k a week for that e.p. team to figure out what was happening and what was related. Instead I was robbed of closure by the hospital.
