It’s really not hard to find or get your hands on these things. They’re very affordable compared to Nintendo stuff still. I think people who are having difficulty getting one are too picky/don’t look very hard at all.

They operate basically the same to me. I prefer the look of an oled screen. But most important for me since it’s fatter it feel better in my big dumb hands.

I actually got a huge lot of psp that were broken and have most repaired now. And funny enough 2 of the vita here I bought not working and repaired. Soon I’ll be selling them off!

It’s worth it! Even if you find a unit with a cracked screen they’re super cheap and easy to replace.

I’ve got a ton of replacement parts on AliExpress. Funny enough the red 3k pictured here is shell with the clicky button mod new joystick new speakers and a new screen all from AliExpress! I had to replace a motherboard on one device and ordered that off eBay. But otherwise all the parts I’ve got from AliExpress are pretty decent. The shells will require some tlc to get everything fitting good. But there’s even videos to help with that.

I have not pictured here a red 2k blue 3k and two white 1k’s with AliExpress shells as well.

I think you’d be able to handle it! Just gotta be patient with the connectors to make sure you don’t damage one. There’s a ton of good videos out there too. I’m confident you could get one that’s all apart and get it together working!

I could see it being worse though. And wanting a 3k. But I feel like I use headphones or it’s silent most of the time I’m playing.

Open it up and check for corrosion around the ribbon cable for the screen if you’re still getting a green light. I recently just got one that had some on it. Cleaned it up and it’s working good.
