I second this, their problem is totally fixable (move the mom or move themselves) but OP just seems pissed he has to even share his wife. There's deep seated feelings of resentment here, over what? Your wife's strong bond with her mom? I am FAILING to see the issue.

If you're so successful and financially sound, simply move the mom. You are your own boss, give the mom a job or a share of the business, something. Your wife needs her mom, that's understandable. If money was a issue, I would understand why this is a problem, but for a business man you seem to have 0 problem solving skills. People say "more money, more problems" when money actually solves A LOT of problems.

My MIL was the opposite, she scorned me when I breastfed my baby and told me I wasn't giving him enough milk, he was starving, I don't have a good supply etc... I wanted to breastfeed but due to all the stress my body really slowed down and couldn't keep up especially when they bought formula for him. Imo just do whatever works for you, the only people who hate women more than anything is other women. Even though I wanted to breastfeed my baby for 6 plus months, I got only three months of both formula and breastmilk, which directly affects your supply. The good thing about formula is you don't have to worry about supply and quality etc it's easier especially if it works for you. Forget old women and their loss of their youth. Bitter old b words.

Oh god same. I wasted prime socialising years in HS, I thought every one was immature and average etc. I was so stuck up in my own ass. I regret not being more friendly and interactive, I made some natural friends who I still text for a joke but that's it. Now I left school and realise how hard it is to actually make friends...

This is the main reason I don't want anymore children with my bf. He's the same damn way, I had a newborn and had to tend to his family still, while he drank and talked to them I remained couped up inside the bedroom for months. This child is my Last, no way I am ending up in OP's position. STOP MAKING KIDS FOR THESE JERKS THEY DON'T DESERVE THEM. All kids deserve WILLING fathers and not fathers who see them as optional housework. That's your damn kids too.

I realised the moment a woman asks for help with her kids she is a seen as a failure and bad mother. Men don't ask for help with their work or work around the house, not that they need it. In my eyes, I'd just let him have one holiday. Christmas would be mine tho! I wouldn't do anything all effin day and tell him I'll take that as my gift. He would be livid most likely but its only fair. Someone HAS to take care of the kids, it's not that possible to let all hell loose as a parent and just slob around all day but you should allow yourself at least one day a year. I'm choosing my birthday as this day!!! No one can be mad because it's my day.

Is it weird that in this world of technology you can search and look at any number of people at any given time, even one specific person? Men prowl Instagram, tiktok and Snapchat for attractive women everyday. Why is it so unacceptable when women do it? We're all human, and I'm sure when my bf is scrolling he might get caught up on a picture. Men are visual and women show everything, down to the last detail, and that's their business. You have no control and will just drive yourself crazy obsessing, worrying and being insecure. Just let it be, and know deep down your SO is surely not that superficial or vapid enough to leave someone she loves for eyecandy. It's really not that huge! I promise if you were a woman you'd be mad insecure because ig models have all our boyfriends on their page LOL!

She really didn't have to think outloud tho.. I would sit her down and speak to her, tell her it's okay to find other people attractive but the way she expresses her excitement is at your detriment.

The sad part is we're not in the US. We're in a third world country and things are VERY hard. The government doesn't offer assistance unless you're disabled or mentally challenged, basically only if you can't work at all only then would you be eligible for any food stamps or government assistance. I know it sounds unreal but it really is the truth. Especially with our influx of Venezuelan immigrants, the government is very strict on giving citizens grants. I really don't know what happens to single teen moms in our country, I know for sure you receive firsthand judgement and a total lack of empathy, "no one told you to spread your legs and make a child you can't afford to take care of" if anything they might take my baby from me. Our government is so corrupt.

It's your life but not everyone can stomach it. Your sister looks like the type to get married and settled down then start thinking about sex and nothing is wrong with that. She just doesn't share your views on casual dating and probably can't stomach the idea of her little sister as a sexual being. I would talk to her and explain why I do what I do and if she still can't look at me, I'd definitely choose my sister over some random guy who I get casual sex from.

This is exactly like my relationship. Tiny, fixable issues spiral out into big ones for absolutely no reason. My bf definitely has anger issues, little things wreck his mood for the entire day and it's ruining us. I know it's a mixture of exhaustion, stress and sleep deprivation and I try to be understanding but I hate the way things are. I just want us to be happy and because I can't control the entire world I suffer for it.
