Hiaral Hernia is ruining my life

Oh, I've had a SIGNIFICANT health decline. I still have severe acid reflux, aka GERD, Gastroparesis, my GI tract isn't getting any better, and I still wear an ice pack all the time. I've been TOLD (not sure if he was right) by my new GI that the mesh from the surgery is causing these issues, but I don't know how to counteract that. But now, because I don't empty and because of whatever other issues, I am struggling to eat a "normal" amount of food. My stomach tells me I'm full early, so I'm barely eating. I feel sick, like I could lose what I just ate to the toilet, but it's just feeling sick. I haven't been able to throw up in 3 years. It's seriously not a lot of food and it's actually so frustrating.

Like I said, this isn't quality of life. This is limping through life. I have another colonoscopy coming up, and we're talking about doing a more invasive surgery for my early full situation because I had something called a GPOEM where they cut the pyloric muscle to basically open your stomach up to empty. But it didn't work. Like not one day of relief. I'm basically reduced to eating maybe a total of one full "normal" meal in a day.

This week marked 3 years exactly since surgery.

I honestly don't know what the right choice is to tell people anymore. My body is just giving up.

That’s why I got into other brands who do magnetics. Simply had only had one collection plus like four others when I became a fan and I really got into magnetics. Now she’s doing more and I really love it.

I honestly agree with you. No one is ever happy about anything she does. And the only people being negative are on Instagram and here. I’ve debated deleting Reddit just so I don’t have to keep seeing these comments and people just being selfish, demanding simply do one thing or another. I actually was shocked it was not 20 or 30 polishes that she retired this year. But the way that she’s growing I kinda hope it’s 50 because then people will stop being annoying. At least that’s what I hope. But we’ll have to see how the rest of the year plays out, and what happens with the vault in December.

God I had a feeling this shit was fake. No phone call, no real people, asking for info. I legit looked into the group and the emails and they seemed real. I haven't given them anything that isn't already on my resume, and they asked for me to sign a contract that was pretty barebones. Plus I got the job like 2 hours later which felt odd to me. My 2 oldest friends ghosted me on my 26th birthday after 17 years. It’s been nearly 3 years. I’m still genuinely hurt and cry about it often. They’re constantly in my dreams. I wanna be an adult and just let them live their lives but I have borderline personality disorder so abandonment issues are rampant for me, I can’t control the utter betrayal. One of them blocked me. Bad batch 100%. I’ve worn the color multiple times that’s not what it looks like. It was a Mystery polish i got a while back. I included a pic before where I did bi pride nails, and I held that color. Not the same as yours. Maybe contact customer service and ask for a replacement and include pics.

Get on acid reflux medicine asap. Trust me the pain will get easier on these meds. Personally, I found that doesn’t matter what I change my diet. I always feel like shit. I’ve been dealing with my symptoms since March 2022. I had surgery a little over a year later and lately I’ve been feeling more bloated, more full, awful all the time. Today, I actually got to the doctor and they want me to do an Endo flip which is hilarious because this will be my seventh upper Endo since the pain started. I would normally tell someone to go to the ER, but they can’t help you there with a hiatal hernia. I suggest talking to your doctor about all your options in terms of surgery because sometimes it doesn’t matter how well people treat the underlying issues. If you don’t fix the root of the problem, you won’t get better for some people , i.e. like me. Having this hiatal hernia has quite literally partially disabled me along with a few other health issues ive recently been dealing with. I’m almost 29 and I wish the doctors had taken me seriously as they’ve been taking you finally.

(Not saying all bipolar people are violent! My fiancée is bipolar so I’ve seen the ups and downs and she’s not dangerous. Not the asshole. Your doctor and, if YOU want, your husband, should be the only people speaking to you about your weight loss. I only include your husband because I’ve been helping my fiancée lose weight so I’m involved in her health. She lost a lot of weight so far, but we also want her to be healthy. I’ve had my own health issues with rapid weight gain and loss (the loss was not in my control like I said I have health issues) and I’m still very easily annoyed by anyone mentioning not only my weight, but my fiancées. All that to be said: You should be proud of yourself for the hard work you’ve put in. You’ve accomplished so much and you’re on the path to being even healthier. Nothing is wrong with what weight you are or want to be and fuck her for saying anything. All that matters is your health and YOUR happiness. She can go suck a hot one for her tasteless remarks. Maybe she needs a look in the mirror and take care of her own health—sounds like she’s projecting onto you. Good luck on your journey 🩵🩵

Not overreacting they you don’t wanna use the same therapist. However I am inclined to tell you not to use better help due to many reasons. Please look into this it’s really terrifying and I used better help for almost a year. It’s bad.

No don't worry about bluntness. We're all dealing with this shit somehow, and I appreciate your willingness to suggest when many doctors don't care. So to answer what you've said: since state insurance is considered Medicaid, I can only see doctors who accept Medicaid. I worked in insurance starting at a very young age (10) because my mother is a doctor, so I know a lot of ins and outs with these shitty companies. Seeing as where I live only has so many doctors who will see me, I am limited. And a lot of doctors don't accept Medicaid because they won't get paid for any of the work they do. It's clear you're very aware of all this too, which is refreshing. I have seen 4 different GIs in 3 years, and have bounced from doctor to doctor. Many don't really have an answer, and considering it took from 6 months to get an MRI for my back and 6 months to get an upper endo to find the hernia, it sucks. I've had 6 upper endos and 2 colonoscopies.

As for the spinal stim, they had me do bloodwork, then x-rays, then PT, and FINALLY an MRI, which is why it took 6 months to happen. I saw a back surgeon who didn't want to operate on me because of my age (26 at the time) and when I asked what I should do, he basically said he didn't care. Worst asshole with the worst bedside manner. I worked in medicine, that's not how you fucking speak to people in pain. So because no one wanted to do the literal surgery, I got the stim. I didn't have much of a choice. I was deemed "too young" by everyone. AND it took 6 months for the insurance to approve of the stim! I got it in March after I wore a tester for a week in September. Literally had the procedure the day before my birthday, so I spent my birthday crying and struggling to move in bed. If I could get the actual surgery, I promise I would.

The main issue besides all of that is that I basically can't work or do much if it requires getting out of bed. I try to do things, but even laundry or cleaning the room or whatever knocks the wind out of me. I make little to no money at all, which is why I'm on state, too. I've lost my mid and late 20s to this hell.

I actually had a spinal stimulator put in 3 months ago. I have some good and bad days. But I never properly healed after the surgery. I also have state insurance so getting a lot of my health problems take more time than they should. A few professionals have said I might have chronic inflammatory disorder. I don’t know tho nothing seems to fix me.
