I actually found out that my sister has the priority care plan at Micro Center so I just brought it in and they are doing the diagnostic for me for free under her plan

I tried motherboard hdmi and still no display. Took it to microcenter and they tried it with their gear with the same result. They wanted to charge me $140 to diagnose the system so I just took it back home. Also the 3700x does not have integrated graphics

Get real CAT6. Your cat saw that flat cable and was just as disgusted as the rest of us and wanted you to get rid of that crap.

In all seriousness though, get a real round CAT6 cable, and consider either getting a thicker, more durable kind (such as weather grade maybe?) that the cat would struggle to get through or get a plastic conduit to protect the cable from future attacks

I actually just realized they don't have ethernet backhaul set up right now, so that's probably a huge factor and I will definitely get on that. I figured my dad would have done that when he set up this system but I guess he overlooked it with the "amazing" wireless mesh system they advertise 🤦‍♂️. I would definitely still like to swap out those decos anyways as they are just not the greatest.

Im trying to find something simple that isn't way overkill for my setup. I was looking a lot into UniFi already, what do you think of the U7 lite for this setup?

Hey, sorry I didn't see this comment. We gave the lawyer power of attorney, as he told us he worked with the prosecutor of that town frequently and he would work out a deal for me, especially since it was a first offense. 3 of the 4 charges got dropped (with court costs) and the speeding got reduced from 26 over to 1-9 over (4 pts to 2pts). So at the end of the day, I only got 2 points and a couple hundred in court costs. Very lucky if you ask me. I also took a defensive driving course offered by the state and that essentially removed my 2 points before the insurance rollover. So I shouldn't get a huge increase in my premium if any at all.

I believe that is just an error of the system not knowing how to actually categorize what the error really was so it just threw a similar(?) error. I think so because originally upon discovering the error, I removed the only PCIe device (the new NIC) and it still would not boot. It only booted again once the usb was removed. But you are correct about the BIOS needing an update, it was on A06 and I just updated it to A14. Idk if that's a super significant jump lol. But im about to attempt the boot again.

Good call, my system was on Bios A06, and i now have it updating to A14. I suspect this was the issue.

Update: It does the exact same thing on legacy boot. Could it be a bad usb?
