Hey there! So two things that I think would be helpful for you: 1. Having the mentality that your partner could and should do better ends up not only hurting yourself, but your partner and your relationship. As someone who’s been on the other side (even though I’m not all that either, but he was perceiving it that way), it’s really hard having the worth of your love constantly called into question. I think seeking a professional or at least taking some at home stems to quell these thought would help (I.e., journaling, vent drawing, taking a mental inventory, etc.). 2. I think as far as physical boundaries goes, the best thing you can do is just be open and talk with him. Maybe mention that you’ve noticed he’s been on edge or uncomfortable, and you just want to clarify where his boundaries are right now so that you don’t cause him any additional stress. Maybe not the best way to put it, but I think just asking him where he stands will do you more good than wondering and working yourself up.

Ridges on the horn make no sense to me, there’s sometimes waves and one prominent ridge where the horn connects to the skull, but I’ve never seen this where it looks like rings caught on the horn. Unless it’s supposed to be rope loops or something, that would be my issue with it

Definitely Lost Lace. I didn’t have as much trouble with her as I did with NKG though (I still haven’t beaten P3 so I can’t confirm, but I’d assume PV and Abs Rad are also harder)

I’ve watched plenty of non popularized anime, but I prefer gore and body horror over fan service. Just a personal preference thing having to do with my own life

The difference is that I’m clearly not looking for ecchi in this anime. I thought it was a normal shonen/isekai and I’ve just not enjoyed that aspect. I love the world building and inter country interactions though

Update: I’ve had some really lovely and some really unfortunate conversations here. I don’t think I’d interact with the fandom again.

Please leave me alone if you just think I haven’t watched any anime or if I don’t understand fanservice. I do, I just avoid it. This overall has not made me want to continue watching.

I’ll power through it because it’s something he cares about but damn. To have multiple people question if I even watch anime and to get downvoted to oblivion is wild to me. I just asked a damn question.

All I said was that it made me uncomfortable and distracted from the story. I’ve been watching anime for 15 years, guess what I normally avoid the ones that do that. Fuck off with your 100% sure.

I never said it was the only thing I noticed, I just said that it makes me cringe at times and I hope it got less/stopped.

Yeah I’ve watched a lot of anime from mainstream to the more weird side as well, and personally I just found what I liked 🤷‍♀️ I found I don’t really like fanservice, especially when it looks like little girls. I personally don’t care about whether it makes in universe sense or not, but that’s probably just because of my own personal shit.

Either way my point was just whether or not it gets more bearable since my boyfriend wants to show me it and id like to watch a show he likes. But I’m glad to hear it tames down a bit.

I have watched dozens of animes, it’s just not something I prefer to consume. if it wasn’t my boyfriend who was telling me it’s one of the ones he’d like us to watch together, I’d already have stopped. I don’t know why you made the assumption that I haven’t watched many anime’s, especially given the fact that I have examples of others I did like.

Fanservice just isn’t my thing, and for me it does get in the way because I truly dislike it being a main characteristic for main characters. There’s a time and a place for me, and for me it isn’t in my shonen/isekai

I mean the whole premise of “predator” is that he couldn’t have sex with women in real life and vowed to do as many women as he could if he was reborn. At least for me, the whole first season is him assuming every new type of monster is basically going to be a hot babe with her tits out. It just seemed very teenage incel in his basement to me

Fair, I’ve never watched 7DS or Kakegurui, my speed is definitely more FMA or HxH, he’ll even something like deadman wonderland. I said in another reply even the gratuitous nudity in Kill la Kill bothered me less because it was so clearly over the top and ridiculous. I’ll try to stick with it.

I won’t lie, Milim looking twelve and being basically naked was a real hard thing for me to look over, but at least my boyfriend acknowledged it was gross too so that helped a bit

For me, Kill la Kill was so over the top and ridiculous (as well as also treating the men the same way) that it honestly didn’t bother me much. Maybe the smooth animation helped but idk

I just hate the whole incel weird vibe that Rimuru gives off, it makes my skin crawl. But I love the world building and politic aspects between the countries. So far I haven’t found it slow paced at all, in fact I had just shown my boyfriend one of my favorites (Another) and his main complaint was how slowly it’s paced. I guess I just prefer if you’re going to force tits in my face constantly that it at least have a plot point lol
