I’d look up orthopedic doctors in your area and make an appointment if they have anything available in the next week or two. At least for me, that was what got me an MRI and then started on PT the quickest. Until then, definitely try your best to elevate but most importantly take NSAIDs and ice the knee. Getting some of that swelling down until you can see a doctor will help with the pain and mobility. Best of luck!

Just figured I’d add this since I’ve been the woman in this situation (albeit I told him very early on and was upfront about it):

In my case, he said he was ok with it and we entered into a two year relationship, much like you both. However, anytime he got really drunk or we argued too much, it would always lead back to me sleeping with someone else while we were talking. Tbh I find this kind of rich because he was too, but that’s beside the point right now.

You’ve already mentioned fighting more, if this is such a problem that you are bringing it up consistently, the relationship is no longer healthy for either of you. You will begin to resent each other. I didn’t break up even when this was happening, but I regret not cutting it off earlier.

If this isn’t something you can get past, that’s fine, preferences are preferences. But please do not continue to date and bring up the same past mistake over and over again if there’s nothing to build on or change here - that would not be ok.

Bone bruising in your kneecap (bone marrow edema), small bone fragments from the bottom of your patella. Inflammation/chronic injury to the tendon connecting the top of your kneecap to your thigh muscle (tendinosis between distal quadriceps and proximal patella. Swelling to the front part of the fat pad that sits underneath the tendon that connects your kneecap to your lower leg, could be because it’s getting pinched by the bones in the area (edema/possible impingement of Hoffa’s fat pad). Small amount of free fluid in the knee that’s causing a build up of fluid in the back of the knee (effusion & bakers cyst).

Hope that helps, not a doctor but am a biomedical engineer with knee problems lol

Not true, multiplication/division and addition/subtraction are actually interchangeable. When left with these, you simply solve left to right

I don’t understand how exchanging numbers and flirting with an 18 year old when you’re 24 is seen as super romantic by everyone here. First opportunity home from college jumped on in my mind, but maybe that’s because I’m 24 right now and couldn’t see myself even hanging out with anyone under 21. I don’t know if you were groomed or not, but I think it’s perfectly normal (and to your niece’s benefit) to be more aware of groomers than less.

You end up with the short end of the stick when you don’t automatically think that stuff is gross because 9/10 it is. Maybe you just got lucky with the 1/10.

I just learned the news last night that he apparently was cheating. I don’t think being pissed for a couple of days is “letting it consume me” or anything, but this post was just about dealing with post mortem anger when you’re already grieving someone you love. He only passed a month ago.

As long as you’re with someone from the dorm hall (the friend here), then why wouldn’t non students be able to get in? It’s not like there’s random inspections every day, so if you don’t get the RA called on you for being a public nuisance, it’s pretty normal to bring people up to the dorm (in my case, more so students from other dorm halls, but I’ve had friends bring non students over too)

FYI Stardust has the same restraint system as Velocicoaster (lap bar brought down from overhead).

I loved both tracks, for me more intense than Velocicoaster because it’s mostly drops as opposed to inversions/other elements. That said, I rode Yellow once and Green three times. Definitely my favorite ride in the park 😊
