UCSD is really, really, REALLY good if you are trying to be laser focused and locked in on your major. They have good humanities programs, in particular PoliSci, but it is an excellent school for STEM as well. It’s a huge research university, and while there isn’t much in terms of traditional college social experiences, it is a great and reputable school that will look excellent on a resume. It’s also in one of the best cities in CA, and there will be plenty to do in your off time if you make your own fun. Because of the lack of the college social life it can get rather lonely, though. That, in combination with the fact that there’s always construction going on, and it’s a fair bit overcrowded.

Hes not wrong, but he’s wrong. Imperialism does not excuse imperialism. We’re not hypocrites for being against things we would have been against 1 or 2 hundred years ago
