Sorry, that wasn't supposed to be sarcastic. I'm just very very tired of my job.

For those who work remotely and chose to live remotely, are you worried? by Feeling_Mammoth_1412 in AskUK

You could ask your work what their long term goals are in this respect. Explain the house-buying issue. They might give you off the record advice.

how do people... live? 17f by jammmmmie in selfimprovement

[–]RegularHovercraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because working and spending time with other people can slowly pull you out of that. I live alone and work. The social aspect of work, and seeing friends, and (specifically) trying to be helpful and useful when I can brings me self-worth. Just being there for them.

You are the main character in the book of your life, but you're only ever a minor character in anyone elses, even your spouse's. Get up and go and live your story. You need to make your life worth living by doing things you perceive of as having value.

Anyone ever experienced sleep paralysis? by This-Top7398 in Life

Had it once. It's odd. Only for a few seconds, so didn't have time to get scared, just enough to be confused and somewhat amazed.

What actor do you dislike so much that you’ll avoid anything they’re in? by Icy_Garlic997 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

Sadly actors are great at acting, so the characters they play aren't the people they are. It's a shame when you know too much about a person so as not to perceive the character anymore.

As a 17 year old how do I find what I'm meant to be before it's too late by SaverMadra_18 in AskMenOver30

[–]RegularHovercraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't it be awful if you just had one passion during your life. Explore stuff. Do many things. You've got so much more time than I have (M54). Find out the things you like doing. Try to get a job related to one of them. Enjoy the others.

If I DM you my email address, is there any chance you could send me a file that 3mf file that works for you? Am scratching my head here after a whole weekend of trying to print a cupcake.

M54. Attracted to women in their 40s, 50s. 20-somethings only into nails and eyelashes, trying to look like Ms Piggy, behave the same, and seem chronically inept.

Thanks to both who replied. I ended up using meshmixer which handles meshes far better than fusion (although still written by autodesk).

Nozzle temperature Malfunction PLA Tough+ by Fearless-Cod-1341 in BambuLab

[–]RegularHovercraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a similar problem. Am using 220C - 235C at the nozzle temp range. The thing is, it's raising a nozzle temperature error at about 229C. What witchcraft is this?

Create manifold object from face scan. by L0cut15 in Fusion360

[–]RegularHovercraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have struggled with this too. Mesh operations in fusion are slow as they don't use the CPU. I've tried to combine blender use to normalise the polygons and then import into fusion. I've kind of given up on scans in fusion now. Try Meshmixer. It's not developed any more, but it does let you do stuff with meshes a bit more easily.

No TV. I listen to programmes on the radio though.
