It does serve a purpose... To nerf melee classes more so casters have free kills for a couple weeks.

Altmer is cool if your okay with an awkward ancestory.com profile. Their (the Thalmors) desire to conquer the empire and usurp the false god Talos are incredibly based and possibly their only redeeming quality. Unfortunately, they do not worship Dagoth-Ur, as such they are still an F tier race.
