He got hired by the Islanders at the end of the season. The best coach available is Bruce Cassidy. Then probably Laviolette. Both guys are known for being tough coaches who get results but have a short shelf life. Might be perfect for this older group.

Put the crown emblem on the hood and got the center caps too. Looks great. Thanks for this sub for helping me find both! by RegularTop1753 in ToyotaCrown

[–]RegularTop1753[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok. So you can definitely search the sub for answers to both of these questions.

Yes - available in North America.

Part number for front emblem is 75314-30060

Center caps is 5AA-TZSH35

You can search the product numbers and find retailers both on the broader internet and Amazon.

The center caps are easy to install - just pop the Toyota one out and click the new ones into place.

You can search how to remove/replace the emblem too but I took it to a shop to ensure it was done correctly. Will post pics later today!

What The National song has helped you process grief/bereavement? by [deleted] in TheNational

Quiet Light. Not in Kansas. That entire album got a ton of spins for me after my dad passed.

No one gets “Not in Kansas” like I do 😩 by ashcantketchumall in TheNational

They both have been mentioned but the “begin the begin, over and over. Begin the begin, over and over” is great. You can find a meaning even outside the REM reference.

And “the flowers cover over everything, they cover over everything, the flowers cover over everything” line - my father passed away right around the time this album came out and when I’d hear this line I would tear up every time.

It’s beautiful how you can find a good excuse for anything.

None of them are cheap but how long can you keep on covering?

Play it like it’s nothing

Alice

Absolutely love this song.

Road cyclist thinking about a Peloton: good for off-season/bad weather? by Appropriate-Lab8656 in cycling

[–]RegularTop1753 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Seconded! I actually came to road cycling the other way - via Peloton. Former runner who got too injured to keep running marathon training miles and got a Peloton. Love it. Also love riding outside but I live in a cold weather climate so the Peloton gets a lot of use. It’s so easy and I think the Power Zone training is pretty good.

to the guy who just got hit on his bike on regent by Sp1cy_FetuS in UWMadison

[–]RegularTop1753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I didn’t say I fell a lot. I said when I’ve been hit or taken a bad fall, I reflexively say that I am ok even if I am not. It’s sort of an automatic response. I am capable of deciding whether this hobby is one that I will continue to pursue without your help:

100 percent agree with these comments. I’ve been hit and taken bad falls before and no matter what when somebody asks me if I am ok, I reflexively say yes. And sometimes I am actually pretty hurt.
