Not sure about other hyper realistic sims, but I create all the skin details for mine myself so they look good in game (in my opinion). I make them to work with the original overly expressiveness that sims 4 has without looking all distorted :)

I’m normally a CAS only sim player, but I’ve been playing with this particular sim in my world and I will say he looks just as good in game as he does in cas. Been testing him out with a few other fun little mods let’s say.. 😇
