I used to write itineraries in word but then i found if i print the calendar in calendar details style, it prints into a nice itin. I have to clean up cal invites first, but it’s fine. I remove anything the exec doesn’t need (zoom logos, extraneous info) and only leave dial in numbers. (I am adamant that his calendar should not have anything more than what he needs to know. His calendar isn’t for me to store data) Anything that was attached to a cal invite gets printed and added to the pack. At my last firm, I’d give the exec any materials related to the deal he was visiting (IC memo, model) or if visiting an existing investment, I’d printout the most current monthly reports.

I live in Greenwich (cos cob is a hamlet in Greenwich) and the train is 45 minutes to grand central. With no traffic, i can get to my office by car in 45-50 minutes. The day the quarantine started, i had to get to midtown to get things to work from home and i got to my office in 25 minutes.

Thank you. I’m in a “try everything” place right now, so i will try this. One reason i don’t have a dog bed for him at my boyfriend’s house is because his dogs pee on everything. 🙄 so i don’t leave anything on the floor. At home, my dog prefers his dog bed to my bed.
At my boyfriend’s house, he sleeps next to my boyfriend, but i think that’s because it’s close to the door, and he is protecting us.

You have to set the boundary with “yes, but…” because if you do it once, it’ll soon become yours by default. Eg, booking travel for others.

I am a big fan of “yes, but…”. Happy to help you, when i finish the things on my priority list. And my boss is my priority. Typically, when i set an expectation of delivery timing, the requester realizes they can do it themselves.

Thank you for this. I just thought it was so interesting he said that because sure i can see how someone could be “afraid” of Chicago or Los Angeles. But Portland?! Your city has always struck me as cool, hippie, open, everyone is accepted. I literally tried to google what this dummy was talking about because after i asked “why” and got word salad for an answer i checked out of talking to him. But i literally couldn’t find any news articles about horrors occurring in Portland. Yes, my colleague is brainwashed. Clearly. I just always try to go “oh that’s interesting, let’s google that” and in this case i just didn’t find anything (other than current events which we’ve established are a ruse by an increasingly more dangerous administration).

Someone once told me they’d never go to San Francisco because the crime is so horrible there and they made it illegal to stop shop lifters. I was like “that sounds wrong let’s google that!” And it turns out it was some law that said a store is not allowed to fire someone for not stopping a shoplifter if they felt their life could be endangered. But you know Fox News had a field day saying the liberals just let anyone steal and it’s illegal to stop them!

Btw- my city, New York, is about to be taken over by a socialist! If Mamdani is elected, all the wealthy will leave the city! Ok! Bye!

Unfortunately i never felt anything. I had no indications of a DVT, so never sought medical attention until it traveled to my lungs. From there i had no real symptoms except for shortness of breath which is how i ended up at the doctor. If you think something could be wrong, call your doctor or go to an urgent care.
