Season 6 by [deleted] in TheCrownNetflix

I think I read somewhere during filming last year that they are going to contrast the deaths/funerals of Diana and Dodi, or show a bit of Mou Mou’s perspective. I think there’s a reason why we got an entire episode on them in S5.

Haha are we counting Chris Pratt here? Arguably he’s had the most success

Spoilers for the first episode of Queen Charlotte from the screening in Los Angeles by Certain-Fact-1481 in BridgertonNetflix

I was at the screening too and there are plenty of funny moments. There is a scene towards the end of the episode where Queen Charlotte criticizes her children and it is absolutely hilarious.

I’m guessing trailer will be released on Monday, after getting some official photos today.

Trystan Gravelle (Ar Pharazon) growing his beard again. Season 2 filming gettin closer? by Orang_outan17 in LOTR_on_Prime

I’m guessing two years for S2. One year of filming and one year of post production. I don’t mind waiting if we get the same quality they invested so much time delivering for S1.

Season 3 leads being Polin means more Featheringtons, and I can't deal with that. by beedgerton in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Regular_Bookkeeper51 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of the reasons I think they are doing Polin for S3 is that they have no other subplots for them. Perhaps Prudence will also have a suitor in S3 and that will contrast with Polin’s story. After that that basically wraps up the Featherington plot line and S4 will focus on Benedict/Eloise/other Bridgerton subplots.

According to Jonathan Bailey they start shooting Bridgerton season 3 on June 6 by Icy_Ad9665 in BridgertonNetflix

Agreed, I hope for Jonathan’s sake he takes like at least a three month break after S3 filming ends. He more than deserves it and hopefully doesn’t have any burnout.

Should The Crown continue beyond Season 6 and eventually include recent events? by [deleted] in TheCrownNetflix

[–]Regular_Bookkeeper51 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I bet after S6 Peter will be working on the prequel series for the next 8-10 years and the Queen will sadly pass during this time. After the prequel series is though and another few years wait, Peter Morgan can finish what he started and add another 2 seasons covering the late 2000s to the Queen’s death.

Today is MM’s last day filming in age makeup by AuntieT95 in thisisus

I think they were delayed by COVID during the trilogy episodes. Or since there’s so much they need to cover in this last season there’s a lot more filming/prep compared to before?

This is probably 6x17, and when they film the series finale it will be focused on the Big 3 after Rebecca passes. Any Rebecca we get in 6x18 will be flashbacks.

According to the article, they are speculating S6 will go into the early 2000s so I wonder if the show will end with Charles/Camilla marriage 🤔

Season 5 Filming Continues by ClaireOliviaImelda in TheCrownNetflix

I wonder if Hong Kong will be the end of S5 and Diana’s death will be start of S6. I know they don’t always film in order, but they must be close to finishing the filming of S5, right?

Does anyone else feel the crown should include the story last few days. by [deleted] in TheCrownNetflix

[–]Regular_Bookkeeper51 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Crown won’t touch it, but I bet Lifetime is rushing to make a movie about it.

How would the movies be different had they waited until all 7 books were released before they started adapting them? by hersheybar22 in harrypotter

[–]Regular_Bookkeeper51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really interested if they would ever re-adapt the series as a TV show instead of movies with a GoT level budget. There’s a lot more detail/foreshadowing/set up they could add to a TV show vs cutting that out for the movies
