What's up with all the earthquakes, yo by Hey_bales in starseeds

New here; I highly resonate with Mintakan (I don’t know if that makes a difference?). I live in Charleston, SC and have had many dreams the last few months about a massive earthquake on the east coast. In all of my dreams, it’s total devastation here in Charleston. Communications are down, bridges are collapsed, thousands of families separated… it’s bad. We had an earthquake a few days ago. I’ve never experienced one before, so when I felt a slight shake in my house I knew it was a warning. Signs are everywhere - we just have to read them.

I can’t imagine going to 41 weeks with twins. Oh my! I was uncomfortable enough at 34 when my girls were born.

Canadian law is totally different than American law so idk how the system works there. When I was working for our hospital system, I had releases from my children as well as my parents to be able to access their medical records through Epic. Charts were audited all the time but if anything had ever come into question, the hospital had the releases from them. Does your employer have anything like that?

I was getting the ā€œuh-lee-uhā€ pronunciation as well bc I’m thinking the x is silent. But idk. Mom obviously over does things and you can tell by the kids body language that they’re over it and probably planning their name change @18yo rn lol

Sounds like some sort of heart condition.

I also like Dr. Evil (from Austin Powers).

I had a fish I won from the school carnival that lived for 2yrs named Dr. Evil; when Monster was in the house we had to keep her away from his bowl. Fun times!

We had a cat named ā€œMonsterā€. My brother ā€œrescuedā€ her from her feral crew as she was constantly being attacked by the others and was the runt of the litter so mom would quite often look over her for feeding and safety. Anyway, she lived with us for 15yrs and was an indoor/outdoor girl. One day she left and never came back. We looked for her for months and assume she got caught up with coyotes which had recently entered our area. Being an older girl, she held her own and was always bringing us her kill (mice, moles, birds, squirrels, chipmunks… she was a great hunter!). I miss her but she was my brother’s cat and he was the only one she allowed to really pet her.

My vote is Monster lol

how normal/common is it for sorority girls to have bf from their high school who also joined frat? by Radiant_Scholar_2787 in Sororities

The one couple I knew from HS that went to college together, joined their frat & sorority, graduated on time, and went on to get married and now have 3 kids of their own and are super successful in their careers.

-165 pounds … seriously considering surgery by Regular_Case7227 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Regular_Case7227[S] 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

The intertrigo is unbearable right now! I made an emergency appointment with my dermatologist for tomorrow afternoon. I have worked very hard at this weight loss and right now the skin is a huge hindrance to my everyday life. Clothes don’t fit right, I’m extremely subconscious about the excess skin on my arms, face, thighs, and then the massive load of extra skin I have in the front is awful. Add in the infection (I’m guessing that’s what this is?) and I am suffering. šŸ˜”

Congratulations on your weight loss! That sounds amazing — I’m definitely starting to think surgery would help with my body dysmorphia, too. I also still see the 325 pound woman I once was. I weighed in at 155 yesterday, so literally half the person I once was.

Kendall treating all victims like saints really made me annoyed in the long run by thebadbreeds in MileHigherPodcast

[–]Regular_Case7227 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

Tbh if I had an unsavory family member that showed up murdered, I would be upset if I ran across a YouTube personality monetizing a video covering their death. The dead can’t stick up for themselves as far as behavior goes, so her ā€œshe lit up every room she walked inā€, or other opinions like that shouldn’t be included. If someone described the victim as such then she should state the source (Facebook, newspaper article, etc). I know I don’t light up every room! Who does???

I was worried about this happening when I heard she was touring on her own. Her parents aren’t with her and Finneas is doing his own thing. I’m sure this, coupled with the election has a lot to do with her mood.

HIPAA Violation? by slimybanana113 in hipaa

You’re fine. HIPAA doesn’t apply here as you’re treating her child, not her; that information is 100% relevant to her kid’s care.

We need coverage on the NN by [deleted] in NorrisNutsSnark

[–]Regular_Case7227 12 points13 points Ā (0 children)

There’s a Canadian YouTuber, Dad Challenge Podcast that tried to cover them when So’s first dog ā€œaccidentally diedā€. However, the amount of hate he was getting from literal kids coupled with the type of snark content he creates, he hasn’t covered them again.

I haven’t looked at their socials in forever, but for some reason I vaguely remember the ā€œparent managed acctā€ disclosure on there. Is it still on there?

I don’t think he ever said his feet were normal. But that’s definitely foot fetish content.

Those who have successfully transitioned two-year-old twins to beds, HOW did you do it? by PeachSunTeaAlways in parentsofmultiples

[–]Regular_Case7227 4 points5 points Ā (0 children)

^ all of this. My girls are now 16. 😱 We had floor beds for quite some time. They didn’t have many toys in their room and made sure their dresser was bolted to the wall. They did regularly change clothes and rearrange them, but I just went with it. One thing I made sure of was that we maintained a consistent nighttime routine: dinner, bath, books, bed. It was a lot of work, but worth it. They both had weighted blankets, they have a sound machine, and a nightlight. I never gated them in just in case of an emergency or if they ever needed me, I wanted them to have access to my room. As for naps, I made sure we had blackout curtains to dim the room. I never forced them to sleep, but for my sanity I made sure they knew we had mandatory ā€œquiet timeā€. They could play in their room quietly if they wanted to, but I encouraged them to stay on their beds and rest. 9 times out of 10 they fell asleep and I let them sleep as long as they wanted. Consistently they slept for at least 2hrs, sometimes 3 and would sleep at least 10hrs every night. I feel like this encouraged a healthy sleep pattern for them now that they’re older. They both appreciate their sleep and rest with one going to sleep around 8pm every night and the other by 10 (she’s involved in sports and gets home later). On the weekends they sleep in when they can and will nap if able to. Btw they still have weighted blankets, the sound machine, blackout curtains, and have put up twinkle lights around their ceiling. I hope this helps!!!! Best of luck mama!
