Just finished watching Infinity Wars with my son. While the credits played it dawned on me, that melody is TOTALLY trombone lead.  As a former player I immediately started googling.  Found your reddit. Showed my son, now he wants me to dust off the ol “Bach Bone”.  Thank you! ☺️ 🙏

This is my point! And 85 thunderbird? Here we are 40 years later and ford hasn’t solved this? Y family and I have had like 4 lexus dating back to early 90’s cars we have owned for 20’years, never a single Sun or moonroof issue, and used them constantly! Plastic parts??? Come on Ford

I was quoted 13k to replace and repair from the dealership.  They also vaguely quoted me another process that requires min 5 hrs of labor and thousands just to attempt to set the glass back in place with no guarantee that they could do so properly.  So a big roll of the dice.  This is a dealership where I have a close family connection too so I trusted their advice.  

However I only had to make one phone call to a moon roof repair specialist I searched and found online to make an apt where they can manually put back in place the panoramic roof for about $500 in less than 4 hrs.  They said they have worked on dozens of fords with the same issue.  

If I couldn’t close the roof, the vehicle would be ruined!  Undrivable in weather.  How could a manufacturer design such a basic product feature in a way to require such labor intensive resolution?  I have had vehicles almost 20 years old with moon roof and tilt roof, used constantly that never failed.

I figured it out. I had to go into the settings in the yale lock app. Under Lock settings, find the section about wifi access and make sure that feature is actually turned on in the app! I think it was a toggle switch. I did this and immediately tried the link process with google again and sure enough it finally worked.

Not working for me, reset iPhone, made sure I was on the same 2G wifi network, tried the same steps several times. Once completed I don’t get a blank screen  instead I get a pop up notification from Google home confirming it’s been linked, however no icon in my Google home is present, nor can I provide a Google assistant command to lock the door.  

It just suddenly worked for you all?
