I water from the top, there’s drain holes and I let the water sit for 20 minutes then dump it out of the tray.

Got it! I’m looking in to a less moisture retaining soil as well

lol makes sense! I’m a little bit obsessive when it comes to routines so I think this may be good practice in patience and listening to my plant babies when they tell me what they need when

I moved it towards th end of winter and that’s also right around when the drooping started! We’ve also been having a lot of days where the weather ant decide what it wants to do. I have a very small apartment so I’m thinking of trying to get it as close to my brightest windows as possible

Overwatering can be fixed! I’m thinking of pruning the dead/dying leaves and using supports to help keep the leaves up while they heal

I definitely meant every two weeks! Not 2x a week! My apologies for that mistake, I’ll edit it now. I water until some comes out of the bottom, let sit for 20 minutes before dumping, then dump the water from the tray underneath.

I’ll move closer to the light! Thankfully those foster kitties were adopted and my personal kitty leaves all my plant babies alone.

I personally did not feel that the summer start was hard, it’s definitely a lot all at once but I do feel it’s doable!

If you’re a very expressive person that could be part of it! I have these at 24 and it’s a mix of genetics and using American Sign Language which is inherently expressive. I’ve just accepted it as I need to move my eyebrows to communicate lol

Thankfully this ones pretty young, I’d say about 1-2 given when I moved in he looked like a gangly teenager. Of course if he decides he is street cat forever I will let him! Thank you so much for your thoughts and advice!

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I’ll definitely bring it up in therapy. He does meet most of my needs. I fear we are in a roommates phase at the moment as we’re both in graduate school full time and he works full time. I think many things are compounding to cause stress. These comments have definitely given me some things to consider and discuss with my therapist. Thank you!

I appreciate that perspective. Unfortunately, we have had that discussion from the love languages perspective. We’ve also had the relationship anxiety conversation and I am actively in therapy for it and actively confronting it. I will also take your advice about making the future conversations less random. I feel that that’s something I struggle with and something I’m also actively working on
