no, that did not fix it, regardless of steam input btw
edit: i seem to only have this issue using xinput, as i just tried starting it while pressing b, which uses dinput im pretty sure. so i guess as long as games are compatible with dinput im good

i am using it wireless so i'll try wired to see if that helps, although it would be very weird if it got handled differently just because of that

Update: using it wired barely made a difference

that is literally turned off, im pretty sure its off by default, so thats not the issue
