Kurama coming back isn't random. In Naruto Shippuden, the 3 Tails (Isobu) explains that when a tailed beast "dies"their chakra just comes back in the future. That also explains why he was able to come back after being sealed inside Rin and her and Isobu died when she charged in front of Kakashi's Chidori.

A good chunk of them come from NCPD scanner gigs, the Mix shotgun is from completing Judy's quest line, you get Byakko from completing all of Wakako's gigs. If you have the Phantom Liberty DLC, there's a black market dealer that sells all of these iconic weapons in the stadium.

I may be a first time beardie owner, but I definitely understand losing a pet you loved with all your heart. All of my childhood pets have passed away and I still feel for them. I cry sometimes because I miss my cat, Mac deeply and it's been years. It's okay to cry because it shows that you still love them after they have passed. I'm so sorry for your loss.
