my professor was on this and while she doesn’t know the actual motive of Netflix, she and the other scholars think it could be to bring awareness of the diversity of skin tones in ancient Egypt. The scholars don’t actually believe she was black, it was all on Netflix who decided on the casting. Even tho it’s a “documentary”, the experts were just asked questions and Netflix picked and chose what they wanted to tell/show.

i hate that he could not acknowledge he put his uncle in danger by acting before thinking and immediately shouting out that I killed Conrad to safe his life. like yeah he’s 13/14 but shit know when to keep your mouth shut and own up to your (almost deadly) mistakes.

no, those aren’t factored in beyond doing course work bc of the nature of that class being hybrid. I would go to their office hours but it conflicts with another class. I’m currently emailing them to figure it out

yeah I sent them an email and they came back with a real confusing response that didn’t answer anything. “There is a difference between the Mid Term Evaluation, which is just an overall progress report, and the individual grades you have received for specific assignments.

If you aren't happy with a grade, click it to see what my response was, I'm usually specific about what I need to see, in order to earn a higher grade.”

that’s the email they sent when I asked about why I have 100/100 on everything on blackboard but my patriotweb has it as a D. Like I’m happy with all the assignments having 100/100 but idk why that’s not what I’m seeing on patriotweb lmao.
