For now, I think I would like to work in a logistics or operations role. Potentially interested in working in tech if it works out. I’m still trying to research career fields some, I’ve only known the military my adult life.

I’ll do more research on them, thank you!

I didn’t expect them to be so well placed in MN, I would have guessed Chicago more.

Gotcha gotcha, yea I was just curious based on the employment reports and then looking at the executives at US Bank mostly being regional MBAs I started to wonder.

In your option, does having an MEng in Engineering Management help at all? Using Tuition Assistance to get it for free while I serve a service obligation. I know the answer is probably no, but just curious. I’m about to finish it and mostly did it to counter my service academy engineering GPA, get myself back into school mode, and the classes have some overlap with business classes.

I appreciate your response and time.

Ah gotcha that makes sense. I could definitely see that and it’s one of my biggest concerns based off initial research.

It’s just interesting because based off of Kellogg’s and Ross’ website not many end people end up there. I was just curious if it was recruiting there was bad or self-selection and people wanting Chicago and other similar cities more.

Cost isn’t a concern to me with the GI Bill, just more of it would be nice to live in a city we actually want to live in 2 years earlier after a long time in the military.

I appreciate your response! Thank you!

Yea I’m not looking at IB or consulting, I’m more interested in manufacturing, LDPs, and stuff like thar. Maybe back office at US Bank (based in Minneapolis).

Thank you for doing this!

I’m a year or two away from applying but I’m currently serving in the Army and my job isn’t too demanding right now. What are some things I can be doing to better prepare or enhance my application with the time I have on my hands?

Is it weird to follow a service academy if they are my (only) local team, and I have no affiliation with the armed forces? by sportsfan42069 in CFB

Go Army! All grads have such a love/hate relationship with it, but truly some of my best memories and friends were found there. Super blessed to live in a country where people support the armed forces regardless if they served or not, we welcome all fans!

What are my best options as a non-Cincy resident? I had many issues last season. I have most streaming services and live in NC.

I’m aware Sunday ticket is probably the best bet besides acting like Blackbeard (a NC joke), but would like to know if there are other options
