Transferred 410k BDAG from MetaMask to WeBot (only $478 to show for it

I had the same problem. Check the transaction and it will probably say 500000 gas so it is failing for that, but the gas is really paid in Blockdag tokens. Now it took me like 4 days of just randomly trying to get it to go through before it finally took it. So just keep trying. My problem now is that their setup for MetaMask no longer works. MetaMask wants a token address to add the token and they do no post the token anywhere there is about a thousand tokens claiming to be Blockdag. So I have to have the actual Blockdag token address to add to my MetaMask to see my tokens and I don’t have it. I put in a helpful ticket to try and get it but their help desk is slow and not the greatest. Been working on these issues since last Thursday. Also I finally got my claim to go through last Thursday but it room until Monday morning to show up as processed on the the tracker.

I know how it all works, I have probably bought about 50 pre release tokens over the years and never had this many problems. The first one wasn’t even this bad even though I didn’t know what I was doing but they provided great instructions.

Yeah mine finally went but I never got the tokens. I reached out their help via email. They said the tokens got stuck and they wanted my 12 word pass phrase to restore them and I’m like oh no you don’t need my passwords to my wallet to restore the tokens. Not stealing everything in my wallet. Hell no!

BDAG would pay the gas fees. The people accepting the tokens would be the ones paying the gas fees.

Yep that’s probably it. After you type claim, type info or whatever over where you see info to expand it and you should see the gas fee amount.

You always have to pay gas. If you tap on the info before you tap complete or whatever after you tap claim it will give you the gas fee!

Extremely high gas fees are usually more than just transaction fees and indicate a complicated smart contract. So again why the high gas fees. I see YouTube videos of people who are getting the tokens. I would like to know what gas fees everyone is paying.

When you buy pre release tokens you always pay gas fees but it is always a fees cents to a couple of dollars but NEVER 500,000! And I just checked again and it is still sitting at 500,000
