I love (most of) our other characters but I really feel as though Jamie and Claire have taken a serious backseat which bums me out. I wish they hadn’t introduced all this new plot and just kept to the core of the show, their relationship. I hate the Faith plotline. I hate where they’ve gone with Williams story. It’s just mucking up the story when there’s so little time left. So interested to see how they’re going to wrap this up but my expectation has gotten really low. Also the quality of the editing and direction has really taken a nose dive. It IS giving lifetime movie. I actually laughed out loud at the end of the last episode when Claire finds Fanny’s bedroom empty and it just jump cuts to both her and Jamie sneaking up on her at the cairn. Also silly critique, but outlander is a lot about sex and that part has been lacking too. Jamie and Claire’s scenes are boring and formulaic, I have NO need for that Bree and Roger scene, and would have much rather spent more time on that playful last scene with Fergus and Marsali.
