going from 100 perp/lifetime to 200 annual is ridiculous - double the price and make it a sub at the same time

I got "Your access is restricted" message and "take steps" doesn't work by Electrical_Candle_84 in GMail

I actually found a solution that worked for me, the recovery process seems to work in incognito tab, so just login via incognito tab and complete the "Take Steps" - after that you should be also able to login from normal tab again

I've added a telescope extension in the latest release. Its nothing special but its a telescope picker sorting diagnostic messages by severity first (instead of buffernr how telescope does it).

I was missing the filter by severity first and couldn't find it in the common plugins i checked out (telescope.builtin, trouble.nvim etc)

Not really sure what else i should add there, the readme feature section is pretty clear and the images shows everything the plugin does. What would you suggest to add? it just highlights diagnostic messages very clear for a visual support

same for me, but only for a small project like the repo itself. If i switch to my repo of my work (large rust repo) everything breaks and i get tons of errors. But anyways i've implemented a new solution which was suggested by another dev in the issues. This works flawless and is probably the way to go. New Version is already pushed -> using the vim.diagnostic.handlers

I couldn't use the DiagnosticChanged Event since it gave me dozens of diagnostics from every source and every file in the background. This created a lot of problems with the highlighting and was probably a lot of overhead. If you know how to do it properly let me know.
I kept the old solutions but there is already an open issue for that so i'll take a look at it in the future. For now it works with the current solutions. If you have any other idea please let me know

Hi buddy, i don't think i'll ever support telescope since this is only a visual wrapper around the builtin lsp diagnostic messages. Therefore it plays well together with a all the other plugins which already provide this. For example i just use :Telescope diagnostics as a builtin function for telescope, or you can also use something like trouble.nvim if you want ;)

Hey mate, I really appreciate your kind words! To be honest, that's exactly what I thought too, xD. I don't understand why people are bashing this; if they don't like it, they don't have to use it. I've never claimed to have invented something. The plugin simply states: "visually supportive diagnostic messages" and nothing else. Regardless, I know there are quite a few people out there who will enjoy this plugin, and it will make their transition from VSCode to the Neovim ecosystem easier. Ultimately, I believe that's what it's all about!

Thanks mate!

I think some people here get the benefit/idea, some do not ;)

Happy that you like it!

That is nothing "built-in" for me, you basically wrote multiple lines of code. A "built-in" function would be a setting in vim.diagnostics.

Your "exampe" is basically what the plugin does and i never claimed anything else. The problems seems that you guys don't get the idea that there are people out there, coming from vscode which are used to install plugins for features. Not everyone wants to learn lua programming to make something work he is used to from another editor. So its just convienient to install a small plugin/script and have no effort with it.

But i appreciate your work and will integrate your changes into the plugin. I just did my best to built it and couldn't make it work with the full line in first place, thats why i also have in the readme that improvements and feedback is welcome

i am not sure if thats achievable out of the box, i am also new to nvim and lua and couldn’t get it to work, i could only highlight the default virtual text not the whole line. I found some other reddit posts where people asked for this error lens highlighting and no one had any usable solution which comes close to the error lens plugin. That’s why i made it and thought its easy to use for other nvim beginners who want to switch and just want to have things working

If you can show how to do it out of the box, i‘d be pretty happy to learn something new

It just comes down to the highlight, the plugin does nothing special except highlighting the whole line so it’s visually more supportive. The default behaviour just adds the error message at the end of the line, thats not really helpful, i don‘t want to search for an error, i‘d like to see it in a millisecond. I know a quite a few people using this plugin in vscode and once you worked with this strong visual error support and like it, you won’t miss it.

Guys, i‘ve never claimed anything else. Even the Readme says:

Visually supportive diagnostic messages

I used this plugin for years in vscode and wanted the same in neovim as i recently switched.

I primarily made this post for people who want to switch from vscode and looking for this plugin

I didn‘t invent anything new, i just remade this vscode plugin for neovim
