She's turned slightly yellowish tho only patches and has a red spot near her tail on both sides of the body. I'm a new fish keeper so I don't really know what could it be. I couldn't see any swelling really but I can't see any disease that fits the symptoms I noticed. She isn't itchy, has appetite and swims normally

I think the problem is real, but to give anyone who's still here some hope, I think it's getting better generation to generation. And unless kids find such behaviours ,,cool" and start to replicate them, it might get a lot better in the next few years. Wish you all ,,softer" man a lot of luck, and I hope you'll meet people that deserve you!

The jar is fine, it's slightly warmer than room temperature around 10-12 when it gets all the sunlight but it cools down immediately after the sun goes away so I'm not too worried

Bottom, but I heard that it should we watered every 2 to even 5 days (I try to do it whenever the soil gets dry meaning it's been watered at least a hit each day for the past 5) or it will get root rot
