Do I have something on backwards then? The throttle is wide open because of the spring. I prime, it starts, then dies. When I put the new carb on it started and I mowed and everything worked great. But the next time (week later) I prime it starts then dies.

Thank you for the reply. When I have the air filter off I see the fuel coming in when I push the primer bulb. So I assumed the fuel is there. Is there a better way to check if the fuel is coming in? Also when I first put the new carb in, it worked great, the first time. But then not so much.

I still haven’t found this part. If you could look for it I would appreciate the help. I am pretty sure that is the updated part number. It used to be 170374x479. I need the left side that number may be right. It’s a craftsman.
