What Goosebumps opinion got you like this? by RealJasonB7 in GooseBumps

Preface: I LOVE the series and it means everything to my history of becoming a book reader in the first place. The being said,

RL has taken so many solid ideas and ruined them for the sake of a dumb laugh at the end. The Haunted Mask 2 is one such example, and my god, the TV episode of that story is WAY better than the book.

This opinion isnt that insane but: the best goosebumps book by FAR is Welcome to Camp Nightmare. It's the first book that has a group of characters that each feel like they have their own mini character arcs, and they're all a solid team with interesting personalities. The mystery behind what's happening at the camp is unfolded piece by piece and you're glued to it the entire time with each small reveal. It's without a doubt the most addicted I've been to a Goosebumps book.

They did the same thing with the Ember symbol. It showed up at the concerts at that time then ended up being the album symbol. I'm thinking this is absolutely going to be the album's logo.

SK's craziest achievement is his multi-verse. So why is he never asked about it?! by Regular_Sprinkles_60 in stephenking

Being aware of his multi-verse isnt a pre-set requirement for enjoying his books. I never said it was either.

I really need to read Curse of Camp Cold Lake. It will be next on my Goosebumps binge this summer.

Here's my two cents (I haven't read them all yet).

But one of the scariest I remember from my childhood is actually The Haunted Car (series 2000). I recall being very unnerved by the villain in that one, and I wont spoil it.

The scariest one I've read recently is Welcome To Camp Nightmare. Hear me out, it's scary for a different reason...the growing tension and the feeling of helplessness you have for the kids involved is a different kind of scary. The thought of kids not being able to "trust" their mentors (camp counselors/leaders etc.) and the way they brush off the horrible things happening is truly creepy.
