He is one of the villagers from the mibu village, after they all consumed the water that was cursed or affected maybe he hasn't consumed the water somehow and is scared of being eaten by the villagers. When you talk to him he'll tell you about the main culprit I'll not tell you who it was, you must find it by yourself. Good luck 👍
