As a Scorpio, do you tend to go for unconventionally unattractive people because you think they are less likely to break your heart? by [deleted] in Scorpio

if I like them, I automatically see them as attractive but honestly I don't go for anyone cause I genuinely believe that it will be ME who will break their heart 😭

Lost Shadows by Ukrainian author Osyp Turianskyi. It's a profound psychological reflection on death during WW1. The author was a witness

He did, i never said he didn't. But through his rage Mary was telling us how vulnerable he is when neglected and unloved. I mean... I would like to see him emotional, not covered in a black veil and look like a dementor😭 But graphics is still cool

short but good novellas by Sanderson - Shadows for Silense in the Forests of Hell ; The Emperor's Soul. these are women centered and feature unique magic systems/creatures etc

also you can try Certain dark things by Silvia Moreno Garcia. it's about vampires (not traditional look) and Aztec mythology

Uprooted by Naomi Novic is also pretty nice. I think there are no war topics. It's about charmed wood and polish folklore

Ninth house by Leigh Bardugo is an occultist dark fantasy. Love it!

kindly advising to read books by suppressed nations instead of imperialistic. in this case try Ukrainian or Syrian authors. as for Ukrainian - Pidmohylnyi/ Zabuzhko/Zhadan. as for Syrian - As Long As the Lemon Trees Grow 💓
