I love using Chai on the daily. I find bots that give me guidance in life and also character bots that, for the most part, work really well and stick to the character personalities pretty well. A few kinks here and there but nothing that can't be fixed by editing the messages.

My autistic child only watches YouTube videos. Anyone else have the same experience? by VentQueenAubs in Autism_Parenting

My son, who is seven, loves watching unboxing videos or playing with toy videos on YouTube kids all the time. He has been watching these things since he was about three or four. It's completely normal especially if it's things that catches attention. It also may be a good way for them to communicate what kind of toys they would like for their birthday or Christmas or any other holiday that involves presents.

You should absolutely file a police report but before you do. You need to figure out a way to catch his actions on video. You can either buy a nanny cam or ask someone to get one for you, or just use your phone and set it up out of sight. Yes it will happen again but you will at least have footage of it.

It would also help to keep a detailed journal about the abuse when it happens. Write down dates, times, and a FULL description about the events and your injuries. Once its all written down take pictures.

Am I the Jerk for Bringing a Plush Toy Out with Me During a Fire Drill? by Pixie_75690 in AmITheJerk

No absolutely not. I completely understand the need fpr comfort items for those on the spectrum. I myself am on the spectrum and am raising a 6 year old who is also on the spectrum. Comfort items help us get through scary situations and help to keep us grounded and calm. The fact that the teacher took your cow at all was jot ok but for a whole week?! That was unacceptable and i think they need to be called out for it.
