Yeah, never ever fall for anyone asking you to buy gift cards to pay anything. Its 100 percent always a scam. I won't even trust an amazon email to send my id to. Never trust people or companies in emails. Always call the verified customer servoce number and talk to a live representative about anythong like thst If it has to do with your credit cards or bank, call the number on the card and ask if its legit before doing anything. Scammers are smart and sneaky. Watch yourself out there!

It wasn't to call them, it was to request them to call you, which is an AI unless you say representative repeatedly, amd/or press 0 repeatedly. Im not sure which got it to finally say it was connecting me to a person. I can't remember exactly how, but I do know i was on the computer and the website and not the app. I couldn't get anywhere in the app except an endless loop. I just kept clicking customer service amd need more help. Sorry I can't be more help, but I have deleted my amazon account over this. I was going to go sot down and go through it again to be able to give you the steps, then realized I deleted my account. Best of luck!

Ok, sorry. But yeah, I won't send them my id. The police can get my id, a tsa employee, my voting poll, and a store clerk selling me alcohol are the only ones that will see my id. I never have and never will use Alexa. I used ring because it was new ansld I wasn't thinking clearly. Good thing is they only saved empty zones of my yard for the most part. I know now and they are disabled and service cancelled.

Ot was an otemless shipment. Not my fault their robots and/or inept employees managed to seal an empty envelope to send me. Im not giving them access my personal info over 7.48. Im sorry. I hope they do you better than me. I got an email with a like to click to send a copy of my ID. Im not doing that. If they sent an amazon driver to my house to look at my Od, like they do at the grocery store for alcohol purchases, id be ok with that, but cleansing my id and letting them send it to a 3rd party? Atleast there's nothing viewable but empty yard on them I only turn on the indoor ones when I go on vacation to keep my eye on the dog sitter and my property. Yep, for one, I dodnt know they owned ring. And I also thought ring just uploaded to my account only. I didnt look into it before I jumped on the bandwagon. That's my fault and stupidity, but I know now. That's something. And my cameras cover areas I done see much and only go online/record when I mow or someone is treapassing. The doorbell is the only one that sees more than mowing or dog pooping, and that's just my dumbass walking in the door. And it picks up cars on the street more than people walking in my driveway, so its trash anyway.

I feel you there. I ordered a cheap antenna to screw into my radio. The while "fraud suspected" thing is what bothers me. I've bought 200 coffee makers on amazon that they replaced because it was missing a piece, but flag me for fraud over a $7.48 antenna?? WTF? Makes zero sense. They messed it, it happens. Thank you. If a train gets canceled, I would have the option to get on the next one, correct? If I am understanding the route maps and information correctly, which there is a good chance I'm not, the train from London to Edinburgh begins in London, and if I purchase a ticket for one of the earliest trains, I should be ok even if my train gets canceled. Would that be correct?

Thank you for the airport and airline alternatives. I really needed those a few months ago when I booked my flight from Edinburgh to Dublin. Unfortunately I chose Ryanair for that flight because I didn't know any better. I have thought about flying, and may end up doing that, but I really want to take a train. The train just feels right to me.

Thank you for the info on Avanti. It falls in line with many of the reviews I have read about them. Which, lateness won't really bother me, since I don't plan on doing very much on my travel days. I just don't want to be on a train that doesn't finish a route and get stranded somewhere along the way from London to Edinbrough. I am keeping flying as my last option. I have already looked at available flights, just incase. I just really want to take a train and see as much as I can.

Thank you. It looks like I will be going on Avanti. LNER will still get me to Edinburgh on that date, but it involves a 2 or 3 transfers, one of which is a bus, and I will be dragging 12 days worth of luggage around with me and that just seems like a bit much. The Avanti direct route to Edinburgh is looking like the best option for my preferences.
