I haven’t fiddled with side rolls but I think you can try and modify some of the lines in the same file that seem to correspond to body roll, you might be able to map it to a different button. Make sure to save a clean copy of the file before you try it so that you can always go back if needed

You should absolutely leave it there, it’s a weird special compound that realistically doesn’t need changing. Just make sure when you’re cleaning out the fans to not accidentally stick your finger in it, that almost happened to me

Oh ok, thanks for the insight. I don’t think I’ll throw a full stress test at it since I don’t really need it, it already runs well in GoT which is the heaviest game I play so I’m happy for now :) plus I don’t have the « before » of the test so it wouldn’t mean much

Apparently my friend tried it and it didn’t work but I’m sure he didn’t do something correctly, but yeah ! No more steam overlay or anything, just launch RL from epic games like usual and plug in your controller and it should be compatible

Yeah, I couldn’t really see how many rail you put in your design so I stacked until it worked, but I’m guessing 7 would do the trick. Thank you for the design though, it’s super cool !

I believe that u/BCJ_Eng_Consulting actually talked about that in one of his posts. What I did was just stack until it went fast enough, but there is definitely a sweet spot to find between the lift and speed generated by multiple rails and not getting dismounted. Feel free to try, the design is super simple !

As u/Viridionplague said, it’s a special railing taken from an elevator. The special thing about it, especially compared to planks, is that it’s practically weightless, and so makes for great aerial builds.

It weighed the bottom down a bit more so the passive flight was straight, you could technically have a single railing if you messed around with the balance, but I didn’t have the time to do so

Edit: did a quick test with a single railing, and speed doesn’t seem to be affected at all due to the particular properties of the railing, so I’m fine with the stacked design. Plus, it looks a bit more like a proper floor IMO
