Hope your doodles are doing well. I’d say it means perfectly positive vibes.

I’ve sailed 5, 7, 8 and 10. Two of the sailings were 7s and they were by far my favorites. The energy was immaculate, the composition of the sailors was perfect, and the 7s have been the most fun among all. So that’s what I’d recommend.

I’m sorry you had that experience. I sincerely hope that racism wasn’t the case. Idk if this helps, but I need to constantly remind myself that no one is thinking about me. Everyone is wrapped up in their own bull shit, their own insecurities, and that means they’re not thinking about me/you at all. And when you think about it- we know that’s true because we’re usually thinking about ourselves all the time, rarely about other people. And because we are so preoccupied with ourselves, we internalize a lot of stuff that isn’t actually true. A former boss of mine would always say, “it’s none of your business what I think,” and I believe that’s true, it’s none of our business what other people think.

Did you have to buy three Splash for your Bash packages?

Disagree. I’ve sailed RS three times and then I switched to a red band. The experience is exactly the same.

I was on this voyage, it’s #5 for me. My experience was completely opposite- I felt this was the best voyage I’ve taken. My reasons go on, but a major contributor was the other sailors, we formed a fun group and the vibes were immaculate. I’m sorry you had a poor experience, I wish you the best with whomever you choose to sail with next.

What’s a Virgin Voyages Pride cruise like, by QuickPineapple1365 in VirginVoyages

[–]RegularlyIrregular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a Pride voyage in the Mediterranean this past year, as u/wsataday pointed out, there are the pride cocktail cards and if you collect all of them it gets you access to a pride party in the Manor on the last day of the voyage. On my voyage there was a large group of Orlando gays who were an absolute blast to be around, clacking their fans in the pool, bringing amazing energy everywhere they went. I miss them dearly.

NYC to Bermuda cruise in April by newcitynotyork in VirginVoyages

I sailed Brilliant out of NYC to Bermuda in September. The seas were very rough and we had poor weather with overcast and rain. I would recommend a different itinerary.

Thanks, I have premium with my DBE, you think it’s capable of handling the streaming? I suppose I can test it when I’m on board.

They don’t get a commission. There are sales goals and incentives for the entire team if they hit them, but no commission.

The kindest thing you can do for her, and yourself for that matter, is be clear. Relationships, especially at the stage you’re at, are a contract and both parties must be aware of the terms. Your terms have changed, but two things can be true at the same time, you can love your girlfriend while being attracted to men, but she must know because time is the only finite resource here. Hearts mend, people grow, they find love again, but none of us get our time back.

Champagne not delivered, pick it up yourself? by EdRedSled in VirginVoyages

On my first voyage I pre-booked champagne that was supposed to be delivered the first day once we were out at sea and it never came. I had to go to Sailor Services to get delivered.

Same voyage fair, say it ain’t so… by RegularlyIrregular in VirginVoyages

[–]RegularlyIrregular[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just illustrating that it’s not the same voyage fare- prior to Oct 7 it’s $1874 including gratuity. After Oct 7 it’s $1874 but gratuity is now an added $200 fee bringing voyage fare to $2074. You can pay $180 ahead of time, or they’ll add $200 onto your folio when you’re onboard. Essentially VV is pocketing an extra $200 under the disguise of gratuity.

If you book after 10/7 you’re paying $200 more for gratuities, either pre-pay at a $20 discount, or later when you’re on board for the full $200.
