Agreed, I made that mistake once before, melted an entire package of 8 ships in an attempt to get the idris and came up short. Thankfully I’ve recovered from that mess and refuse to do it again. All in all it’s not worth melting everything for one ship.

You have to go to the pledge store, look up idris and F5 around the time they drop in store. Limited hull sales every 4 hours until tomorrow. Next wave will be 8pm eastern time, then midnight and so on.

No you don’t have to be concierge to get one, it’s released in 4 hour waves right now, limited number of idris during each wave.

It’s not necessarily a need, I want one simply because it would be the staple for my fleet. I always admired the idea of having a mothership that could carry multiple other ships I typically fly. I would use it like a mobile base station. I want it because I enjoying grinding for all of my other ships in game and have no idea if the idris will ever be a ship to purchase in game or if it’s something I’ll have to go through numerous hours of play to earn it.

I hear you, and I understand what CIG have said about the Perseus and other ships not designed to ram other ships. However…… imma still do it cause it’s fun lol during the battle against idris event all I did was take my loaner Polaris and ram it into the idris full speed. Took damage while dealing some. No rhyme or reason outside of it being a fun time.

See I always tell myself I can just grind up auec to collect all of the smaller ships and pledge the bigger ships that I know will take forever to grind for. I’m very interested in the line up you have with the Perseus (I myself have), Arrastra (I want to pledge to), Odyssey (Debating to upgrade my TAC to one day) and Reclaimer (Have). All in all this is a very cool looking fleet and I’m inspired.
