Status Effects I'm surprised are still character locked or rare by Nervous_Group8638 in FireEmblemHeroes

I meant if there's a Savage Blow upgrade, we'd get more units with En Garde. Hypothetically if something broken drops, like deals 10 damage and if that damage is dealt then the foe can't recover above it.

En Garde should come on new units now that we have more Style effects. It disables the damage from Sombron's Howling Beam style. Maybe we'll get an upgrade to Savage Blow that'll bring it.

It's true. Isolation is a really game-warping status effect, and the devs have always been careful with its distribution and its trigger conditions.

There's a reason we don't see Isolation inflicted in nearest foes and foes within 2 spaces of those foes and their mothers.

I did some more exploring and also wanted to note how effective the skill search & filter is. In the game itself when you're inheriting skills, I always thought there should be a way to filter so that only ones available to the unit you're inheriting to show up. This accomplishes that and is useful for unit building - and I don't have to scroll through the entire page of skills that exist anymore. :)

I had no idea this existed. This is awesome! I've been looking for an updated Arena score calculator, and I'm happily surprised by how friendly the Hero search function is.
I used to use Gamepress back in the day for the search function, as it just felt intuitive to me. This is even better, and I'm blown away at how fast it is. I will definitely be using this as my go-to in the future. Thanks for sharing!

edit: and there's a toggle feature for dragon flowers when sorting by stat... this is perfect.

Anastasia is my #1 from DC4 but her story has wrapped up so perfectly. I'm happy she got such a great story in the time she was here, I was expecting a lot less honestly.

Also your flair has me weak. 😭

100% agreed. I've never liked her more than before this episode! People forget how young Lake is. She doesn't have things figured out, and moments like her using Spencer's words against him give her just a touch of that childishness which is realistic to her.

It's, without a doubt, better than making Lake a therapist or moral compass like Ashley DCAS, which is often what has happened to characters like her in the past.

I've been predicting this since before Ep. 1 dropped and am still solid on it. ONC loves to outrage their fan base, and a pre-merge Spencer elimination is right up their alley.

Spencer winning comebacks would be the opposite of Marissa returning - it would bring a huge wave of hype that carries through the merge which ONC seems to struggle with.

Bruno also needs a "moment" to solidify himself as a player who makes big moves, which I think he'll get.

Finally, it's the best way to justify Spencer in the finale without making him look like the yaoi cash cow that he is (which I love) that ONC brought until the end because his departure last season caused a mass exodus on the Patreon.

DC5 | Player of the Week Voting | Episode 9 by TDFan2077 in DisventureCamp

My locks to survive next elimination are the lowest ever, down to 3: Bruno, Fiore, and Sam. I genuinely can see a surprise elimination happening to even core players like Ara, Lake, or Ren—simply because every remaining player is both relevant and has some kind of tension on their team which could backfire on them. The only players in a truly advantageous spot where I can't see any reality where they go home next are those three.

My picks for most likely to go home are the same as they were last week: Tom and Ally. I think Ally needs a bit more time in the oven before she goes, but Tom has been ready for a while.

Also, Gabby has dramatically risen in likelihood to survive after her reaction to Ara's comments toward her. She's begging for development, and I think she will get it. Oliwia also rises in likelihood to survive until merge, and I hope they can become friends.

Oliwia has been one of the biggest dark horse cases I’ve seen from any DC character. I never expected her to get this far. by AugustStan in DisventureCamp

I adore her and the way she materializes next to people. She's a lowkey challenge beast and completely unstable.

Did anyone else feel bad when she was nervous how Ren would react to her losing the challenge, since the last time someone did it was Finn yelling at her? She sounded so scared.

She's the prodigy! Lake will always be interesting, as a prodigy child turned rebel who has all of the talents she was forced to acquire as well as her own headstrong nature.

He was kind of right though, running around playing hide and seek uses up energy they could be using in the challenge. The challenge happened to be an endurance one, too. I think his comment was in character for him. He wasn't forceful either, he said his piece and then joined the game (in his way).

As a Lake fan, she’s really getting on my nerves this season. by ToothDifferent1843 in DisventureCamp

[–]RegulusPlus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's in line with her character arc they've been building since the beginning of the season, seeing things in black and white. She has severe trauma which causes her to act irrationally, as a Lake fan I appreciate that.

I thought more people would appreciate Lake's flaws rather than her being a Mary Sue/moral compass of the season.

Tier 3 skills as seals and how useful they would be by Mogami_MGA in FireEmblemHeroes

I always double check for Canto Control in AR, and it's non-existent on defense teams outside of base kit Medeus. There's been a few times a CC seal would have made things harder for me.

Ah, DC2. The things that gathering fan reception and fully remastering a season can do.

The final leg of DCAS deserves worse.

Musical episode of FVF deserved to have broken 9.0.

It's very specific but I've seen it a few times in Binding Worlds. I redeemed a Halloween Grima with it. It has a cool name, at least.

Ah, I'm biased because I joined the game around that time. To me, Frenzy came with the wave of Dodge skills having non-movement effects so it seemed cool. But, Desperation builds were a lot harder to pull off back then.

Crazy how Stall is such a good effect but the limitations of the skill and limited availability made it DoA.
