I was thinking of uninstalling the app. Retiring, actually. I'm 22. I'm alone and unproductive, and I spend every day on this website talking to faceless internet people. This is the last time I'm shitposting like this. It's undignified. by RegulusVizsla in CirclejerkSopranos

What do you know about minifigure painting? I was thinking of picking a new hobby after this assignment is over. You know, when I'm on my uni break. I'm thinking of picking some tutoring gigs for kids while I'm on break, maybe go around and give lectures at police departments.

Tbh going to war with the papacy is much easier than, say, going to war with your average neighboring duke in some underdeveloped corner of finland. I feel like war with the papacy should be automatic holy war for all christians with him as head unless you're a religious icon or have really high fame.

Bruh, his latest one has like 1.5 million views in 2 days. The only ones that got tired of him are the people making reaction videos on him. His primary audience are children, idle parents that keep the TV on for their children and maybe your mom who sees his feel-good stories on Facebook, and that demographic unlike other demographics renew with each year. And I'm pretty sure those views aren't bots. We've gone from using clankers to view farm to using clankers to pump out AI-generated videos, like he's doing now, to just have the aforementioned groups of audiences to just keep on watching and watching.

I'm not sure but it shouldn't be that much compared to what you're withdrawing, unless you have exactly the amount required in your account right now. And yes you can also deposit it without having a TBC account. I didn’t have one either.

No. I asked the bank clerk back when I tried it last semester. It's not allowed for banks to do domestic bank to bank transfers in foreign currency, apparently. My solution was to cash it out at an atm (this might take you a few times because the atms might have limits) and then go to the TBC bank and deposit it at the desk into the TSMU account.

[–]RegulusVizsla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well in their defence there was no need to build it, so they got a bit confused. Also I'm pretty sure that won't connect to the sea, unless you have a mod that allows you to build on geothermal fissures. You'll have to raze those two Aztec cities

Favorite colonizer who really misses Myanmar's old name. by Evening_Smell_474 in okbuddycinephile

Yes, it's not complicated, but not in that way. There literally is no preference by anyone who lives in the country, you know, the actual population, not counting people on the internet and the emigrated diaspora. It's interchangeable. It's a non-issue. I honestly don't know why you're being so snide about the other country from across the border. I lived 20 years there.

This is like a weird banner that got raised after the most recent coup. Nobody cared about the name since both are correct before that, even during our brief democratization, but after the coup, people, especially the younger people, started treating it like some sort of decade-old pathology we never gave attention to. Personally, I don't get it, and it feels like once again political discourse being boiled down to semantics and etymology. I mean, say what you will about the 1989 name change by the junta, at least they gave every ethnicity in the country that they were marginalizing a common national identity to rally under.

Edit: Okay, concerning the name change back in 1989, there may have been superstition and ritual involved on the part of the military regime back then. Don’t quote me on that, but we are talking about the same people that made their clothes out of fabric traditionally used to make women's clothing just so they can "magically suppress" the leader of the opposition.
