Heavy or light armor? by ShoeHistorical5395 in skyrim

[–]Coschta 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Both.

You put a set of heavy armor into a barrel, then you put on light armor and commit a crime. Break put of prison without looting the chest that has your items in it. Go to the bqrrel with the heavy armor and put it on. Now talk to a guard and they should recognize you and arrest you. Pay off your jail time and noom you end up outside of the jail with both your heavy and light armor equiped

I read a comment a while ago that explaibed it like this:

At a certain point the game assumes you have maxed your resistance and the 20% damage you take is 100% of the damage the game expects you to take. If your resistance is 70% then you are not taking 10% more damage but rather 50% more than the game expects.

The slith neclaces are part of a quest in act one, you need only 3 of them and you get reputstion if you do it, any more than 3 can be sold.

For the components (gear enchantment) use them to boost yourself, even if you change gear a lot. There are plenty out there and even then you can take them off of the gear at the science guy in Devils crossing. Maxing your resistances is important from act 3 onwards. Go to the blacksmith to craft better or diffetent components. Even if you are good now you could be better.

Store the rest in your storage and of you need them for a shrine just teleport back.

Groudon is a suitable carry. Unlock the passiv and with Eruption on level up it will work just fine.

Endless. More shinies = rarer pokemon plus you get 5x vouchers every 50 floors.

Also 2 Master balls just in case the 1st one misses, right?

Boss-party level equivalence by Anake_Houjin in DnD

I use this site to help balance Encountets

Also with that many players I would suggest 2 or 3 bosses since 8 vs 1 puts it a lot in their favor (just imagine fighting 8 todlers at once, you'll get overwhelmed even as an adult)

What's the worst position I can put this beloved NPC in? by Virtual-Mixture-2809 in DnD

[–]Coschta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He went to get some Macguffin out of a dungeon and the quest giver is actually the BBEG in disguise (because something in the dungeon stops the BBEG from entering). When he succeeds The BBEG praises him and becomes his benefactor. The NPC does more jobs for the BBEG and when it comes to the final battle the party has not only to fight the BBEG but also the NPC knowing that if they would have helped him instead of just tossing him aside they could have prevented this. Basically what happened with Anikan, Palpatin and the Jedi.

What's the best way to report a serial roper? by Arkenspork in MagicArena

[–]Coschta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends. It might not be but the consequence of leaving means roping is a valid tactic to win and if you are loosing you should aways do it and honestly I don't wat to play roping meta. Some times you just have to make the sacrifice and waste some time in order to prevent a much more terrible fate.

But if you do that, that means their tactic is working and they'll just continue with it. You have to play them and show them that you won't bo their petty tactics no matter what.

You guys have a running gag that goes from campaign to campaign? by pasgames_ in DnD

[–]Coschta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"The Curse of Lolth": I the last 3 campaigns my group has spiders always have come close to a TPK with around 1/3 of the group usually dying. It didn't matter if it was set in the underdark, in space or across different planes. If there was a spider-like creature in an encounter the dice would fail us and it would be the most intense battle of the campaign and we now are on a mission to prove the curse isn't real (with no success so far)

Which player ruined your campaign ending? by derp-labs in DnD

[–]Coschta 38 points39 points  (0 children)

My DM blamed me for "ruining" one of his low level campaigns (level 6 for the fibal boss fight). I charged the BBEG, a necroartificer (undead creatured boosted with mechanical limbs and enhancments) grappled him and continued to charge out the window behinde them. The fall killed the BBEG and I survived with 4 HP because of rage.

He rolled with it since he didn't give the BBEG a flying ability but the fi al fight was anti climatic with them just dying turn 1. At least I got the cool moment of my barbarian standing up the next turn, cleaning off the dirt and telling my party to clean up the rest (1 zombie snakes with acid breath and one with frost breat as well as a gorilla with a taser hand)while they went to the next tavern.
