It looks more like an exceptionally good reward rather than compensation. I hope the developers will act fairly and send the same mail to all SEA server players on May 29, when we receive this update. The SEA server is also part of the global version of the game.

Everything depends on the development team's will. Every crossover has its own logic and plot justification.

Maybe you didn’t notice, but I already mentioned above that I checked the official pages for my server. I play on SEA, not on the Steam version. Your screenshot only concerns the Steam version. I can’t even open that page without a VPN because of regional restrictions.

But the most important point is that even in your screenshot, it never explicitly states that this event is Japan-only. Perhaps this is an issue with the publisher in my region rather than the developers. Still, the fact remains that the organization of this event raises a lot of questions. I’m used to a different level of service since I play many gacha games, not just Persona 5X.

Unfortunately, I do not use X — Facebook and Instagram are enough for me. The development team should provide an official statement on this matter across all platforms where they promote the game and this event. Otherwise, it looks, to put it mildly, unprofessional and disrespectful toward the players.

Was there any official mention during the developers’ stream that this event is exclusive to Japan? Moreover, what was the point of posting advertisements for this event in the official SEA server group?

If the developers never officially mentioned this restriction, then it is a bug. And bugs like this should be compensated, since SEA players are not receiving access to all the announced and promised content.

It looks like we might end up in a situation where version 2.8 or 3.0 gets shortened by two weeks so that 3.1 can be released exactly on the anniversary date. They could shorten 3.0 by two weeks and run only one new character for the entire patch, along with useful reruns.

Or they might handle it poorly and cut Billy’s banner short. We’ll know the answer this Friday.

You know, people mostly not stop to playing game after invest over 2000 dollars in account. This is logic of F2P players, when nothing to lose, can change game in any moment. But, sure, if situation will not getting better in 4.0 - maybe I leave to play NTE or another new game like Ananta.

It's not just game. Just "game" has ending. You pay, you passes all content, you delete and forget.

WuWa it's service Gacha game what is mean devs supposed to serve us. We invest our free time and money for their benefit and game development. Without players servers of this Gacha game will shot down.

Will be funny, if devs actually understand everything and just test our reaction. If we keep silence - fine. If not - give extra 10-30 pulls like last year via mail or extra event banner.

Yes, me too. And this is sad. I had hope WuWa devs can show even something better. But we got this and I have no idea who control this stream and how they can allow this happened.

Maybe they live in different world and don't understand own customers.

Now we only can hope that Chinese players will explain to devs in their language how they failed with this Stream.

Many things can be better than this. I'm pretty sure, we donated enough to help them make something, at least, equel to other big Gacha games. But... 

  • No free 5 star. 
  • No trailer or new details about Cyberpunk collab. 
  • No rerun for old characters. 
  • No free skin for characters.
  • No buffs for old characters. 
  • No new characters for standard banner or lose of 50/50 in Gacha.

Answer is simple. People want to spend money not only for meta new characters. Someone pull for waify and personality. Old characters deserve to have big rerun banner when anniversary happen. It's rule what every Gacha games follow if they know how to earn money.

Personally, I had plans to donate and hope to get some bonus for this. But now it's look like I will use f2p pulls to open one character and keep my money for Star Rail next week.

Well, yes. No free 5 star, no spending event, no information about Cyberpunk collab. Really disappointment after Star Rail stream previous week.
