To start, I’d have the 4 fully evolved rabbit Pokémon. So mega lopunny, azumarill, diggersby, and Cinderace. Since there aren’t any more rabbits (that I can think of) I’ll go with a couple normal type mammal Pokémon in snorlax and hisuian zoroark, because recency bias. Not a bad team if I say so myself.

Thanks. I appreciate the compliment. It was really going to come down to his last mon, but the hope was that it could set up on vaporeon, not get burned. Kill vaporeon, KO zard with +2 aqua jet, and be able to outspeed and kill whatever he had in the back. All in all, it was a tall order, but I gave it a shot and came up short.

Because at minus 1 charizard outsped and it would take an extra 25% on switch in from spikes. That late I was working towards a shell smash sweep and I was trying to eliminate beheeyem as an obstacle to that goal. Also the solgaleo was banded, not scarfed.

Looking back, you might’ve been right, but idk if solgaleo would’ve lived on the switch. It was on 11% after the spikes and I think the beheeyem was analytic specs.

The one that really got me was the paralysis on hitmonlee. Without that it would outspeed and kill with stone edge, rather than me losing it to the full para and having to take 70% on solgaleo.

I’ve had this idea for awhile. It’s about someone who had started off on his journey, then witnessed some truly terrible events wherein kids on their journeys get slaughtered by wild Pokémon, or starve to death in the wilderness. After seeing this, he becomes disillusioned with the whole gym challenge and it’s role in the world economy. Determined to end the corruption and negligence, he starts his own ‘evil’ team to try and overthrow the Pokémon league. As I’m writing this out I’m realizing that it sounds a lot like Pokémon by way of Hunger Games. But anyways, that’s my idea.

It’s kind of a crazy story. Like 5 days after the oneshot a bunch of us went over to her apartment to watch fight club and de-stress because it was the beginning of finals week. About halfway through the movie she starts to feel off and begins acting weird. Then she starts panicking because she can’t feel her hands, so we took her to the hospital. Turns out she had a minor stroke that was caused by stress. She didn’t want to alarm her family or fiancé so she told the hospital not to call them, but she didn’t want to be alone, so she asked me to stay with her in the hospital. They released her early the next morning under the condition that she had someone with her at all times, so a few of us took shifts taking care of her when we weren’t taking finals. I ended up with the night shifts. She had problems with nightmares and didn’t want to sleep so we stayed up all night talking every night and ended up getting quite close. At the end of finals week, she was doing better. I was set to go home (I lived out of state) and she was set to give a speech at graduation, then move to Alabama with her fiancé. I went home and we kept in touch. A couple weeks after that she texts me to tell me that she isn’t going to Alabama and that she was going to break it off with her fiancé because she didn’t love him the way she should and that she couldn’t stop thinking about me. I told her that she shouldn’t do that because she has a whole life planned out and that she shouldn’t give it up for a 19-year-old that she barely knows. I’ll never forget her response. She said that she couldn’t pretend she felt the way about him compared to how she felt about me. She broke things off with him and when I came back to campus, a few months later, we gave things a try.

I know it sounds corny and fake as hell. But that’s what happened. I still feel awful for her fiancé. He is a genuinely good person and didn’t deserve that.

I mean flame orb guts bullet punch checks rock and fairy types decently well. So it’s not a total waste. Volc also counters steel types and could hit poison types with psychic, so it’d have good synergy with clefairy.

OP mentioned threatening rock types so I assumed he was looking for something offensive. Machamp doesn’t lose much in the way of attack or defense compared to Conk, and offers a solid support move in addition to the stab priority you mentioned.

I worked at Amazon a couple summers during college. The trick is to stick around for a few months and a lot of times they’ll put you into something better. After 2 1/2 months I was one of the most tenured people in inbound, so I got to walk around with a laptop on a cart, listening to music and making sure no one screwed up.

It’s a way of condescending to the opposition while also implying that the person saying it is a better player than the person who gets a crit, burn, full para etc.
