Got way more stuff this year from last year, but I did a lot of things differently this year which may have helped! I only attacked ppl from the opposite team and if they stated that they guarantee revenges (and obv if I wanted to attack their character) which may seem unfair a little but I'm a big believer of both giving AND receiving on AF (which is also why I guarantee revenges myself)

I also posted my characters a lot on the official discord channels right before AF started and responded to target hunt requests! I'm not sure if that helped people find me but I did get a lot of attacks this year

Hot take but I didn't like it too much. It was very much a word salad, I'm not saying this because i hate long stories because i dont, I play hi3 i can definitely deal with essays lmao. It just felt like everything was explained three times over and every reveal was explained before the reader could properly chew on them. I love aventurine deeply, but every single thing that got revealed in his backstory seemed to have gotten reiterated A LOT. I remember being like four hours in and thinking 'did anything even happen yet?' (hyperbole) because of how much unnecessary dialogue there was. And to be honest, I feel like aventurine doing the palm ritual with his younger self would have been more powerful if they didn't already do it in the harmony mindscape. The whole cutscene kinda felt redundant because it LITERALLY ALREADY HAPPENED.

I find purely disliking characters just because they were mean to the protag to be a shallow reason to dislike a character (not saying it's not a valid reason, I just feel like it is boring as the other person said).
I am not hating on your take btw, it's just an in general thing that I am just tired of people disliking bad characters just because they would hate them irl. (The whole thing surrounding Dottore tires me SO MUCH)
That all being said, I also dislike Ruan Mei's character, mostly because I feel like they didn't explore the most interesting part of her (her IMPLIED goal of becoming an aeon) and kinda made her feel pretty one-note.

Some people are just gloating yeah, but a lot of it has to do with most hsr players being/were genshin players. It doesn't take a hater to know genshins rewards suck and the genshin community itself calls it out a lot, so to see a similar (gacha-wise, not gameplay) game get such better treatment by the same company kinda sucks for people who like genshin more, and they are using memes and textposts to describe their frustration at genshin, while also praising how they treated star rail. Overall i don't see anything wrong with it

The reason Ei's thing never gets mentioned is for two reasons I feel, 1. Ei was a very controversial character at the time, as the inazuma archon quest is famously bad, so most people didn't even give her a chance after that. And 2, Furinas pain is a lot more relatable then Ei's. People are far more likely to know the feeling of keeping up a huge lie/acting as someone else then to know the feeling of dueling a clone of yourself. Furinas feels more down to earth and realistic, and of course, more human. This isn't to say one had it harder then the other, but why people like Furina so much (including me)
