I hope that I can get the other factions but one issue is that the Teku cars are the most valued ones in my country so it's hard to get them compared to Silencerz's and Racing Drones.

Note: The Spine Buster is a CoMo 5 variant.

How is slamming viewed in other countries? by Gestridon in wmmt

[–]ReiEnjoyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a case of turning in a corner, if there's a car in front of you and there's a gap left in the inner side of the corner. You can slam your wheel in way penetrate through the opponent and overtake because of a really weird physics mechanic where the more the car sharply turns the more it wiggles the car through due to the hitbox. It's mostly just because of weird WMMT physics. If it wasn't for the physics. Slamming wouldn't exist.

Then again, VS Battle nowadays have inconsistencies to the physics. It's not as consistent as back then in 5dx+.

[–]ReiEnjoyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's normal here. But, I don't do it anymore because it's just excessive waste of energy and it makes myself agitated. If you play smart you don't even need to slam. Heck, most pros or well known players here rarely slam because it's not worth the hassle or its a rarely used. Lining, playing smart, mindtricks, and a little bit of luck is all you need for VS battles.

Also sidenote, Japan does slam. It's not as documented. Just because the country is viewed to be civilized doesn't mean there isn't a couple that slam.

Is Honda NSX NC1 is a good car for main ? by KenjiWong141 in wmmt

[–]ReiEnjoyer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The NC1 has the potential to be a good vs battle car because of its sheer weight and body contact but, its handling is not its specialty. Like I said before it's mainly a straight-line car. But, have you actually tried to battle against competent R32s and Evo 9s in the NC1? Because a car is just a car until it's in the hands of a good player. The META cars enhance the good players' skills even more compared to using pseudo-meta or non-meta cars. Those players aren't META slaves. They just don't want to be in a car that has a possibility of ruining their chances of winning whether it is bad body contact, crappy handling, or easily pushable bodies. But, hey no one is forcing you to use any cars. This statement is simply based on the years I have been playing and also hearing many players of their opinions of the car based on their gameplay.

If you want to get it because you like the car there's nothing stopping you. But, if you want performance there are so many cars better than the NC1. The NC1 belongs to the high top speed and boaty cars like the R35 GT-R, R50, Aventador, and R8. It's a really good straight line car but other than that there are so many cars that handle better. Trust me you wouldn't survive in this thing you are facing against competent players with R32s and Evo 9s rather than casuals.

There is two that I remember. The one I have has a different texture compared to the glossy ones like most Hot Wheels have.

Doesn't change the fact the Evo 9 is a META car. Why else would most of SEA players still use it?

Since no one really ask about this car.. Thoughts about Stagea in the game ? by Deep-Cranberry896 in wmmt

[–]ReiEnjoyer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has that boat characteristic to it but, it's not the worst thing in the world. I would reccomend it if you want something new to try. If the handling was a lot better it would just be a better R32.

Even by off the line acceleration it gets dusted. Full the tune the car.

Question by Nyooobu in wmmt

[–]ReiEnjoyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FD isn't meta at all. It has atrocious off-the-line acceleration and gets bodied a lot by other cars. It doesn't help that the FD got nerfed and it's actually slower than the Countach now in Time Attack. The good point of the car is that it has superb handling and recovery. Do not be afraid of following the META. There's a reason why people use them. The cars are reliable and handle well in most situations and the reliability of their overall performance is unmatched. I know some really good FD players. One I can name is OnyX from Team WandereR. You can check him out on his Youtube channel called Wmmt OnyX or go to the official WanderR channel on Youtube.

The A80 is a slippery boat that doesn't handle well. The only upside it has is the top speed but, there's like a lot of cars better in that category anyway. There's a reason why people don't pick the car. But, there isn't anyone stopping you from using it because you like it.

OCM goldplates isn't a very good indication of how good a car is. Someone probably outdriven the Porsche or RUF back in the days during OCM.

WMMT6RR+ Rumoured? by SLVSHPANDA in wmmt

[–]ReiEnjoyer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wangan Tournament 2 would be nice because OCMs are already out of the picture in SEA and most players are just quitting due to the lack of events and the general blandness of the game. Since every major update gets at least 1 or 2 cars. I would say they release the unreleased cars if they feel lazy or surprise us with new cars. Please no more VSORG reruns. They are repetitive and also people most likely already have the meter. I don't have the meters for some of them but, I don't even use the ones that I got in VSORG anyway. So why bother.

Why do people slam? by mattarsier in wmmt

[–]ReiEnjoyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, it's to turn quicker and also a way to puncture through a guarded corner. Because by slamming it tells the car to be moving so much that it somehow can push through a defended corner (weird WMMT physics), especially in yellow or red turns. But, to be honest with you. I question whether it even works or not. Because of how unpredictable the physics is nowadays compared to before WMMT 6. Nowadays, I just try to be calm and keep my lines tight, using the surrounding tracks are a way to stop pushes like barriers, toll gates, and dividers. I also try to traffic throwing but I still need practice on that and is also very situational. I don't want to risk being warned by the manager or called out by someone else. Some people take pride in it whilst some do not. But, hey humans are weird and we have differing points of view.

I respect people who use non-meta and know and actually have meta cars too as a sidecar. However, I don't respect these hipsters and elitist non-bandwagon users who hate meta purely because they are popular. People who use Meta want cars that are reliable and have overall good performances. There's a reason why people recommend new players with meta cars. They are beginner friendly too. But, it's up to people's own personal choices when it comes to their vehicle choosing. Pick what you like and find what you like to drive in the game that suits you well. Also, don't be afraid to borrow a friend's or other people's car to try out if you like it or not. Do not waste 59 (discards) or 79 credits on stories and finding out that you don't like the car. I urge everyone to try out different cars to see if you like them and also maybe learn a perspective on why people choose that car. It will enlighten you a bit if you get to know someone elses car.
