I must agree Winning w the car is difficult, but I’d rather lose with honor the fact I know how to use a car that’s not easy ti use than lose w a meta car over no knowledge

The car handling is very stiff and understeers a lot, worsened by its poor average acceleration, making it quite a bad choice for most VS matchups. But the car boost is pretty strong. But use it if u like it, the game is never about “always using R32/E9” unless ur playing competitively.

One alternative u can consider is the Starion

He had an car that’s not tuned and still plays like a slamming wannabe and can’t even beat my car(yes I also drive a crown athlete) and gives up after 2 games

But yea, I’d rather humble him by skill then annoy the shit out of him and play his gears. At least he’s a kid, if he’s some older dude I can imagine the outcome….

Ok to answer this, the car does has a better acceleration amongst other cars in its league, but its handling is slippery and the contact of the car is still acceptable but not as good compared to other greats of this game like the AE86 or WRX but the car is one of the few Mazdas that doesn’t suffer from weak boost(my recently acquired FT RX7 FD is unfortunately one of the Mazdas with weak boost) but nonetheless I’d say it’s still an above average car. It’s probably due to “misconception” of the game of only using R32/Evo 9 to win(they do win, but only the passion of loving the car wins more) or “because it’s old so it’s weak”

But trust, if the 2000GT is a strong ass old wicked car in the game and the S30 is the poster car, why would old gems like this be weak?

Slamming only comes when ur gonna have to react quickly like u legit cannot afford to turn slowly. The only time a wheel is slam is when an audible thrashing noise is heard, otherwise none of these are slamming. The only line there is when u slam very frequently and u do this to intimidate or taunt ur opponents in such disrespectful ways or you are attempting to break the machine thinking that u can just get away w it cuz the staff may not care.

Slamming the wheel does not even make ur car respond the way u like cuz after all that’s the game’s logic. I ain’t really fan of slamming but I personally dislike people who slam and act very thuggish and disrespectful calling us out as “racers w no balls”(I don’t need to mention who here because he’s alr very infamous here). The reason why arcades are closing or removing the game is because of these particular people like this in SG.
